If anyone is interested in how exactly did the DAO attack take place, this is excellent reading material. It is a bit technical.

It will be great if we all just stopped caring about the DAO and focused our energy on something less dead.

Not very likely it gets dumped on an exchange. Stolen ether is more likely to be sold over-the-counter to a large buyer in order to avoid identification. Large buyers are more often holders than scalpers.

It is a great read if you are interested technically. I know it doesn't matter when it comes to trade, but it is important for any dev to know what happened and learn some lessons.

But this is o so tasty at the moment, for those of us that called this sometime ago. But on a serious note, this is sound advice; besides being an interesting way to drive up my post count, we are giving this too much attention. It's like watching a ship sink with people on board, better maybe to walk away.

interesting read, thanks for sharing

they say it was due to a DAO vulnerability that the attack succeeded... I don't see it like this.

isn't possibly to create never ending procedures a vulnerability by itself?

We have the block chain tracker. So the movement of these coins are recorded. It will be detected. The buyer shall be aware.

These coins will be dumped for BTC and then moved to a mixer for anonymity. From then they are safe to land in anyone's pockets. Crypto is a paradise for hackers and thieves.

So it is better to prevent that to happen by locking the Ethereum from the specific address. The miners are voting now.

ETH trash is made for fast profit only, there are some whales in, and the whales wants the price pumping and dumping to make tons of money like they are doing since this trashcoin born

ETH hacked, DAO hacked? serious? accident or purposely to make the prices go down? whales buy cheap and then pump the prices again.......

ETH was "allegedly" hacked

100% "purpose"

Sorry for the bad english and stay alway this pyramid pump and dump scam trash coin.
