I installed a new version of the full desktop wallet and started synchronizing it with the network. When synchronization was about 2/3 ready, I had to turn off my laptop. After this (it happened yesterday), I can not start my wallet, because I get the message "Unable to connect to nxt a proxy." Does anyone know what the problem is?

Turn it down, restart. Do you still get "unable to connect"? What is the Server connection status? ARDR.

Looks like the best way to solve that issue is to set up nxt.enableAPIProxy=false instead of true  or just to lock up that entry in nxt-default.properties like this #nxt.enableAPIProxy=true

I would be grateful if someone more experienced would explain to me some points about forging. I have a good experience in the staking of POS coins and I would like to understand the difference.

1) If I started forging, having, for example, 1000 ARDR, and then I added another 1000 coins to my wallet - do I need to do something similar to combining entries, as in many POS coins? Does the concept of "stake" generally exist during forging, or is the combination automatically and extend to the overall balance?

2) How can I see my reward? As I understand it, in order to forge - my wallet must be on the Ardor network. At the same time, the forging reward is IGNIS, right? Will I see some message from my wallet about the reward or do I need to switch it to the IGNIS network for this?

1) You don't have to do anything. It will be done automatically. After a certain number of blocks, I believe 1444, the increased amount of coins in your wallet will be used for forging.

2 You would have an increased Ardor balance as you only forge Ardor. You can also see it in a block explorer.
You can earn Ignis if you become a bundler but that's a different story.

Apparently, I didn’t understand very well about this issue - but I remember some article or post in which I read about 12 Ignis as a reward for forging - apparently this led me to a misunderstanding.
Btw, where can I get to know more about bundling of Ignis?
And one more question: how many ARDRs should I put on the forging in order to receive the reward no less than every day now? Are there any such statistics?

Maybethe 12 Ignis were part of a promo in order to incentivize people to set up forging nodes.

As for how much Ardor you neeed, a lot! There are accounts forging with millions of Ardor and you have to compete against them. I remember someone saying months ago that you needed at least 100k Ardor otherwise it would better to lease your forging power to a pool.
