i would wait for the s9, if it is not out yet, it will be the best and most efficient for the time being, no need to wast money on an ancient s7, which will be pointless with the halving

Just to make sure, what do you want to mine? Solo mining for Bitcoin are not going to be profitable, if you are going to consider that route. It might be better to mine some other Alt coin, and for that you do not need these over priced Asic's. Can you give us some more detailed information on what you are planning to mine?

I've never planned mining before for the reason that I have lack of funding, however I'm not going to surrender in BTC economy. I will save some to mine also, but mining is not profitable for a solo, maybe I need to invest so I can buy many powerful ASIC rigs.
