Determined by the DAO itself, this percentage is designed to create an incentive for the DAO's actions, maintain its economic sustainability, and reward those that helped bring it to life.
It also represents the cost of decentralization: to forgo it would prevent a user from enjoying all the advantages of decentralization, leveraging the trustless payment feature of the smart objects altogether and benefiting from the network effects. This percentage will be sent directly to the DAO, giving it the option to use the accumulated ether to support its growth, or to redistribute it to its token holders.
