which shows how great of a community we have. Mature and a community that understood this issue was nothing to panic about.

Nah. Half of us understand what's going on, and are kicking ourselves for not having more fiat on the exchanges. The other half are suffering from the "Bitcoin is broken" syndrome. It's understandable, this isn't an easy thing to wrap your head around.

Gox is where the volume is, and it is a slow pile of steaming sh^t that cannot handle fast markets.

We all learned a valuable lesson today. ALWAYS keep fiat in the exchanges.

I'd argue we've learnt a couple valuable lessons today, but yes, that's one of them.  Cheesy

people were actually buying bitcoins at $48 to $49 while the price on mtgox was $38.  that just doesn't make any sense.  why would anyone do that? is there manipulation going on?

No, there are people who understand what's going on.

Yes, this. I swear to Gox I'm sending a wire to them ASAP for more 'crisis' like this. I can only kick myself hard now.

Nice - the 20 day EMA has been the spot to buy dips during this whole run since Jan, and once again today. Dipped slightly below this time, but not much.

Bought at $37.50, just sold at $46.  Not a bad profit within an hour.  Time for another low ball bid to catch future panic.

Too late. We'll hover around here for awhile before we resume our trip to 100.
