As a satoshidice shareholder,  I feel it is my fiduciary responsibility not to waste a perfectly good tragedy.

If you've been keeping up with the chatter,  you'll know satoshidice are the most likely to get blamed for this afternoons nightmare.

Their games are really fun to play!

Satoshi Dice did not cause the forking, but it helped to discover the flaw with the additional transaction volume it generates. So Satoshi Dice somewhat caused forking. Paradox.

Yes, SD actually helped, but that doesn't mean we should all start playing and fill up the blockchain, OK?

All SatoshiDice is doing is using the service they've been provided with a lot, it's a bit like ISPs who punish users who actually get their money's worth out of their connections, it's the morons who don't upgrade the infrastructure and make it work that are the problem not the users who find out how much it can take.

Hey everybody we've got a big problem with congestion in major cities! I know! Lets charge them lots of money to get in and make travelling really expensive since we can't outright ban them from it!.... Wait a minute! Why is no one using our roads anymore?

SatoshiDice is blamed for many things (most of the time rightly so) but it did not cause "the fork"

I tend to agree with the view that SD is doing more good than harm by stress-testing Bitcoin.  Better now than later.

It's good to have such an advanced use of the system with ASIC about to really push some limits.
