Buy and hold amigos.

Bitcoin is just getting started, and I'm sure there are millions of uses for bitcoins, I've thought of a few but many remain undiscovered.

Bitcoin CAPTCHA

I'm not a developer, but, so many trolls and robots spamming the net with viagra adverts, a CAPTCHA service based on Bitcoins would
be a great solution.  Bitcoins are hard to come by, if someone wants to join this forum, they can do some work to prove their work... get
that GPU working, or they can buy some.

Hell, if they want to then waste a bitcoin on membership to an online service to advertise little blue pills, I'm sure the webmaster would
appreciate the extra funding to improve their resources.

Bitcoin has so much undiscovered potential ahead of it, it's going to be difficult to come by some as this rolls out across the planet.

Wow - Thank you.

I'm really new to Bitcoin, it's really excited me.   I'll have a good look through that wiki now.

The difference with your idea is that the money is more of a deposit, and it is returned to you eventually (if you leave the site or the site leaves). It's also possible to return it if you earn your spot, or whatever. The possibilities are quite endless, that's the beauty of Bitcoin's scripting.
