Hi all.

Had a good read through but still unsure about which gpu to choose that's readily available.

I've been looking at the r9 range......

Any suggestions that are still in production?

Been looking at the r9 380x but unsure atm.

Any pointers would be great.

Budget of around £200 per card.

Cheers

From what I read if power consumption isn't an issue then the 380's /90's would be better?

I'm only repeating this from what I've recently read tho....

well not a big deal, you can create a vm with windows and install there all the shitcoin that you want to solo mine, if you need their wallet, then just point your miner to your virtual machine

Well, a big deal for me. Once ago I tried to install Ubuntu on an USB stick, and it didn't worked. The taskbar even disappeared... Nothing better than the battlefield-tested Windows 7 !
