yes in fact, you just need to understand that the bitcoin price is backed by the fiat, if the demand of fiat is dropped then so do the bitcoin, bank cannot be destroyed unless the we have commodities to back bitcoin. bitcoin price is considered as an investment tool only in most of the bitcoin traders AFAIK. Sad

If you are from UK, will you exchange your money into Bitcoin tonight?
Maybe too late, but think about it, German/France will punish UK to make it a bad example, so that protect their precious Union. pound will fall more.

If we have more news regarding Scotland an Northern Ireland, and possible Netherland exit, it might drive btc over 900-1k.

Bingo.  The price surge during the last 12 hours will have been due to Brexit but we all know Bitcoin will go up or down regardless of whats
happening in teh real world. A little excitement and speculation about Brexit was an excuse to generate a bit of a bull run but of course it could easily drop. Then again, it may
go above $1k today. We just cant tell with Bitcoin.

Scotland's brainwashed citizens voted remain but its part of the UK as is Northern Ireland who also voted leave. They are both part of the UK so they remain in the UK. I believe the English should demand a referendum for them to decide if they wish to break up the UK, which they should. Scotland and Northern Ireland are bringing them down and nearly tipped the vote in favour of remain. This is very unfair to the English.  Scotland's extremist communist government is nothing but a pure hate filled anti English fest. Scotland got its own referendum to leave the Uk last year and lost. The English didn't get a say in the matter, yet the Scots get a say in England's destiny. That should change and the English people should demand it.

but not all the way to be the fact, it is explicitly an opinion.
even if the fiat stock market is dropping, doesn't mean all the way that the bitcoin price goes 1000 in a short period.

Greece did not exit for reasons AFAIK. one of them, the result in bankruptcy of EU.

yes it does affect bitcoin and the price. I am not saying it will go to the moon (9k) but it will increase it.

where do you think the 300+ million dollar trade volume each day comes from? it surely isn't newbies buying 0.01BTC
it is those big investors who are investing in oil, gold, stocks, forex and bitcoin so one drop will lead to migration of money to another investment.

I dont know why any of you think the brexit would affect bitcoin, It wont at all, theres no reason to. People in the uk. most of whom have never even heard of bitcoin are certainly not going to be flocking to buy it and the same goes for the rest of europe. Bitcoin and the brexit are unrelated.

Then how about the declining yuan? Or RU/Ukraine? Or what about the fear of war-starting Trump or Islam-inviting Hillary? And then our beloved chancelloress illegally rolling out the red carpet for half of Africa? Or terrorism in general? And what about the push to get rid of tax havens?

So far seems like everybody is piling in the yen (no idea why) and gold.  Bitcoin has gone up in the past 24 hours but that started before the results were in.

Yen is a traditional safe haven as it is less affected by Europe and US. Brexit news effect on BTC appears to be over

But the yen has been going down for the past year and negative rates in Japan haven't worked.  I get gold, but I don't really think "safe haven" when I think yen.  But I guess I'm in the minority in that regard.

It is because negative interest rates are a dead end of world's economy. It won't work in the long run. I expect them to invest in bitcoin too.
Brexit, is the incentive we wanted, it can push economic markets to ditch standard investment method and start to embrace cryptocurrency in fear of bigger financial crisis.

Scotland showing its true colours. The scottish referendum said. Do you believe Scotland should be an independent country? Independent. Now they say they don't want to be independent really, they want to be ruled by Brussels not London. They don't want to rule themselves.
