Yep, it appears Scott took off with the money from users, and decided to not honor his agreements, then took the site offline. Classy guy. Now to find out his info.
Hi Everyone, just to let people know I have been a member of Bitcoin Socially pretty much since the beginning of the website and I have also contributed / donated to the purchase of the Bitcoin Socially mining rig.
In order to get an explanation rather than conjecture, I emailed Scott and recieved this reply:
I stated on the website before it went down that I was moving the servers location. The thing is the server I paid Quantumkiwi.com for has been down over 90% of the time since I paid, making it impossible to set the site up. The old server provider is not being used and the new one is constantly offline and that is why the site is down. Yesterday I bought a package from hostgator.com so I can get the email back up. The site might just be placed on the hostgator server if Quantumkiwi.com doesnt fix the broken servers soon.
Scott has never given me reason to mistrust him before and I accept his explanation wholeheartedly.
I hope this will reassure the other BS members who may have been getting antsy over the last little while.
