They say they have seven datacenters spread out. I tried to do some research but couldn't find any evidence.

Has anyone actually seen even one of their datacenters?

Sounds reasonable. I also believe that too.

Welp, I better pull out now.

How long does it take for someone to actually profit off these ponzi schemes, if they actually stay "invested" and the site stays up?  Hypothetically, of course.  I don't understand how these scams actually stay around for so long, when it's so obvious they're stretching out their promises for so long

Let's turn it around.

After all these scams in cloud mining, if a company don't posts picture of their hardware on the homepage, the company can't be trusted.

If a company pretends that cloud mining is profitable, you should avoid it.

Hashnest, Genesis Mining, even the big boys weren't able to give their miners even a small profit. How can a new party do it?

If they are not willing to post any pictures it's highly probable not legit, be careful!

When it comes to cloud mining it's guilty until proven innocent as far as i'm concerned. there've been so many scams and failures now that i'd need a personalized tour and some live figures before even thinking of putting some money in. even then i'd only put in peanuts for a while until i felt reassured enough.

Its a Ponzi ,what do you expect ? Don't be surprised if their data centers would burn down one day with a pic and upgrade about it on their website.Remember oremine.org ? Apparently their business got freezed by the FBI. Roll Eyes

No, I'm not dreaming. I put some money there before but I already pulled out after realizing their system works like PBmining (no proof, etc.)

They have a refund guarantee. Support obliged to my request.

For those who are concerned if I really did get my deposit back: Yes, down to the last decimal point.

Based on their transaction, I was pretty surprised they're in control of more than a few thousand BTC.

Owning a few thousand can come from anywhere though..

If the person has their money laundering business or something else that generates them profit and exchanged that to btc value then everyones pretty much a cloud mining site..

Whats amazing is that they havent responded back here to protect their name lol.

I think they dont respond here because they dont want the issue to be bigger the more talk the more the mistake will be made and also no one dare to their support reprensenting to their self here because surely they will earn some trolling, heavy question and worse criticizing because there given info in their site is miss leading And Thats why we can only communicate theim at their website

try to send an amount of bitcoin from an exchanger just like coinbase or xapo,if you're lucky enough, your requested btc will be sent to your address from an address which contain hundred of btc,but don't sure hashocean just use this method

What is to be surprised here, they are the biggest scam of bitcoin history so far yet so there's nothing to be surprised. They also I heard send back a GPU to some person asking for it (personally I think its a shill account of Hashocean support) but even CLDmine were in charge of more than 700.000 USD and soon after they disappeared and no one knows a thing about them, so there is nothing to be surprised here also. Soon these guys will run away too, maybe they are waiting for that 1 mln dollar thing before leaving with users funds.

It's easy with mining because it doesn't even have to get to the part of a ponzi where you pay an old investor with a new investor's money.

You buy a 6 month contract, they can just give you back your own bitcoins that you gave them over the 6 months (or even better, just hold onto them and change a number on a website to make it look like you are getting coins or more "hashpower") and keep going until they control enough coins to just shut it down or that enough people try to actually withdraw that they have to run.

There has been some tries as I have read in other threads regarding Hashocean , so far resulting unsuccessful all of those tries. No one will ever see a picture, a real one, as fake ones they can put as much as they can to their website. Also if you check their address ,its just a Restaurant address, if you call them, they leave you on the phone for more than 10 minutes and nothing happens. I am thinking these data centers are only dreams of the owners of Hashocean ,they doesn't exist.
