I was wondering what others think, will 1 BTC ever have a value of 50k+?
Within the future, like in 50-200 years from now.
Added text February 2021 - "It happened so much faster than expected, we are nearly there and where will it go within the next years?"

I think it might be possible at some point in the future, but might might take over two decades for Bitcoin to reach that value, based on the value of Bitcoin doubling after every halving and assuming that is sustainable.
It could potentially reach that value in the next decade or something if a lot of people start getting into Bitcoin and start investing notable amounts.

Bitcoin in 200 years?  Actually I don't know whether the bitcoin has the potential to survive for ten more years or not. But in any case, it seems too clear that the bitcoin price is absolutely unpredictable, so I don't think it is possible to see that price ever ($50000). |

I think that is possible, because the price is always rise although sometimes goes down, it's normal and give trader opportunity to get profit by trading. BITCOINs devotee is increase every time and in my country necessity of bitcoin is always less that make the market positive I mean the price is always rise. I think BITCOIN price will be reach 50k/1btc in the future.

I know its impossible to predict, I am pretty sure some crypto-currency will make it through the years but if thats BTC or some other Coin in the future is hard to say.

I'd say that there is a very slight chance of that happening, somewhat like just 0.01% or so. But why 50-200 years? Do you want your soul to enjoy the money? I'd say, hope for less but in near future, somewhat like 2020-2025. Actually I don't know whether the bitcoin has the potential to survive for ten more years or not.

No one know about the future of bitcoin, maybe it's can happen with bitcoin. but not, for now, it's a miracle if bitcoin can get value more than $50000. Nobody knows with this. |

i dont think we will need to wait that much time because the price will have a lot of potential to grow i think that in like 10 years bitcoin will reach such big price, that would be really cool in my opinion |

Your probably looking for few percent of whole world economy to be done in Bitcoin only first. Quite possible even sonner than 50 years, but obviously the scaling in posible transactions/second would need to be much higher than current few per second. Without huge scaling, I dont believe speculation only (without actual utility) can lead to hundred times higher prices. |

If we have super computers that can break bitcoin addresses by then, then they will also be able to break bank accounts too so both would be obsolete. Either way id Say we will never reach 50k |

This is not impossible to happen, as long people use bitcoin and year after year there are many bitcoin user becomes, and many big companies around the world accepting bitcoin, well its possible. The exact question is when will be the specific time for that. And maybe I'm too old when it happens.  |

It' impossible to happen even in the future.. i think the maximum price will be in bitcoin is 5k value this is i think will be the price in the future..
But we don't what will happen in the future. we are lucky if we see that the price will be 5k in few years..
