Well its up to you to decide I don't really go on this forum that often. But if you'll look my details are verified on BTCJAM and I've repayed one loan. I'm just trying to build up my reputation, I don't know why everyones got their knickers in a twist.

What is a reputation loan?  Obviously you are taking out smaller loans to try and get a bigger loan.  What size loan is your ultimate goal and for what purpose?

To scam people, of course.

Investing in reputation loans is pretty much gambling.

I understand where you all are coming from, but on the contrary, no one is going to get a large loan if they have never had any small loans. Credit is something that is built up and earned.

I think each and every time someone loans somebody anything its a complete risk / gamble. All you can go by is their past transactions the gauge weather the risk is worth it or not.

I have seen a couple of people on BTCJam now do those reputation loans and they built up to 100BTC+.  Then they walked with the coins.

You gotta be careful on BTCJam they can scam but usually 100 bitcoins never gets funded unless your very well verified. Reputations nothing without verifying your details but BTCJam should have a guarantee that these details are readily available to investors should you default on a loan. The site needs improvements, but its got potential.

They are not, and you can't do anything about it if they default.

Non-sequitur what is "not". Admittedly you can't do anything if they default and like I said it needs improvements.

If personal info such as the phone number isn't released then why have people verify it?

I don't care if they have a phone if I can't get the number to it.

Like I say they should change it. It would be better for both parties if that information was available.
