Well if I knew I would invest, but im too paranoid about Hashocean disappearing overnight, which is what I think it's reasonable to think as an inevitable outcome.

Sooner or later they will take their profits and leave. It's fundamentally a ponzi after all.

Unfortunately it is a ponzi scheme at its core. Like in any ponzi scheme early adopters and a lucky few will make profit. But in the end they all run and leave a trail of despair.

since Hashocean is a ponzi scheme company then yes they will close down soon. it may take a while before they stop paying their investors but they will eventually start having problems at first and then suddenly they will disappear.

Most of the cloud mining including hashocean seems really fishy with whatever they claim about their hashrates they can offer for their clients. I think hashocean still alive because they may be getting new investors daily and i will not surprise if they shutdown overnight just like what cldmine done recently.

Hashoncean is one of the oldest cloud mining as of now but hashocean is not different to other cloud mining site.. so i think it will close so beware if you can still want to invest better to invest few bitcoins  just on invest huge amount so that you can lose only few bitcoins..

Just have a look at a lot of other threads in this section and you will have a very clear idea what Hashocean is. Fundamentally a ponzi, they pay older investors with money taken from new investors, when there will be no more new investors, they will get away with people's money, its inevitable for such thing to not happen.

I am not a customer of Hashocean or any cloud mining site, well expect nicehash but I don't see that as the same type of investment.
When I was seriously looking at investing in such things I found the thread below and it gave me some points to consider before investing, check it out.
They don't mention Hashocean in the beginning but, they certainly do near the end (and I think it's kinda entertaining)

they will close for sure but no one is exactly sure when , they are shady and they don't provide proof of mining which make them a ponzi
and ponzis close when people stop putting money in the program or when the owner decides that he has made enough money
in general I don't think they survive more than two months , cause there are some early people who are withdrawing a good amount daily

Well, i was invested in hashocean around 6-8 months ago, but since im heard minning sites are very risky (got scammed) i wd all my money immediately,  maybe hashocean already had been more than 1 years old (one of oldest minning site i think) but personally i think hashocean will close, because like others minning site which already closed or scam alot of people, so people will be aware  to invest in minning site in next time.

it doesn't matter if they are paying right now or even if you can withdraw, this is what happens with all the ponzi schemes out there you can always withdraw in their happy time but when they want to run away everything will happen suddenly.

Well thats their bait so many people will be attract to invest in their site but if they collect many money very sure scenario that they would run, ponzi is ponzi it would last forever thats why all investors should think twic before investing more low roi means its getting hard time for us to get our capital back in that thats why avoid all ponzi so we cannot be a victim in their scam time.

Well your right we don't when this company will gone but its still risky because this is just the same as other investment type.. if you know about scrypt.cc this cloud mining before is one of the trusted company but they are still run because of greediness and the price of bitcoin..
So i think better to stay away in this kind of system.. better to find other business that you know its safe..
