Scammers Profile Link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=801198

Reference Link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1510523.0 and chat logs below
Amount Scammed: 0.03 BTC
Payment Method: BTC
Proof of Payment: https://blockchain.info/tx/67dee29802bd322173d20264e613ecd2f6a97b569503bd81561c6b917e6d3e97
PM/Chat Logs: Below
Additional Notes: Below

Hi All,

I had some spare BTC lying around so I decided to lend it out to ChasingCarsEU 0.03 BTC with no collateral or interest (Im nice like that) - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=801198

The agreement was 7 - 10 days. But he agreed to pay on the 7th day. As I had said 7 - 10 days I decided to honour the 10 day mark when he was unable to pay back on the 7th day.

10 Days has passed and still no payment. I see he has not been on for a few days, but he knew this was due.

Original Thread He Locked: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1510523.0
Initial Transaction for Lend: https://blockchain.info/tx/67dee29802bd322173d20264e613ecd2f6a97b569503bd81561c6b917e6d3e97

He runs his own microlend business - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1502309.0

As you can see he has had the money in his wallet since the loan was started, he could have paid back at any time - https://blockchain.info/address/19KAFrMRDJtbHvFqoHDxZicp1iWkCWMbMk - However this appears to be some forwarding address of some kind.

I have left him negative feedback and would suggest that no-one do business with this guy as he is just trying to take advantage. If any DT members could leave him feedback that would be appreciated as it would warn other users.

I mean, its not like its a lot of BTC its basically loose change but its the trust that comes with the lend. I think I have been fair in this case.

You're going to hear it: Collateral, learn it, use it.

There was also a warning that the account was up for sale but I guess that was ignored.

When the subject of buying BTC with Paypal comes up, I often remember this:

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Agreed, But it was such a small amount I didn't care really.

If the account has been sold and he is scamming people then he should be left negative feedback to warn others.

Why would he give his account up if he knew he had a loan outstanding, unless he plans to run.
