I really like the design and visual appeal of the site. Seems like it would be very easy for a newbie to read and understand.

Oooo! Pretty!
I do like your use of pastel colors. It's much easier to look at than most of the other charts on Blockchain, etc. Looking at greyscale and dark themes makes me sad, particularly when it's cold and grey outside.
I think that you're off to a fine start.

"The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."
- Carroll Quigley, CFR member, mentor to Bill Clinton, from 'Tragedy And Hope'

Cool site, what did you program it in?
Also, are you planning to eventually add Litecoin? Just curious.

I was just complimenting bitcoinchain on delivering a site that does not look like "Babbys first website", but is instead very well done.

Nice effort. It's very welcome, though it would be better if the site's content (like numbers and blockchain info that arent graphics) degraded gracefully so javascript was not required to see what's going on.
