Well let's say the nifty Bitcoin core guys would suddenly abandon Proof-of-Work, say good bye to all the miners and fork Bitcoin to Proof of Stake,

would u support this?

or would u run away and stop supporting Bitcoin?

Proof of Stake is completely a different algorithm.  The coins are increased by staking over the time and are not produced by mining. The concept is cool but bitcoin cant adopt it because its different in structure. CBX is one of the best ALtcoin which is based on PosP.

Well it depends how much stake daily that you can make with bitcoin. if you are just invest your money and buy 10 btc just hope that you can earn in staking even 0.01 daily is a good thing.. but if you are just earning few cents..  i think its not a good i dea to invest money in bitcoin.

i would support it. the amount of electricity going to mining is just not healthy.

On one hand, I would support this, but I'm not entirely sure right now.

Believe me, people will find a way to waste even more energy on something else instead. That is not an issue IMO.
To support it I would like to see detailed explanation and summary of pros and cons of both options. So far I am happy with bitcoin PoW.

I would sell... PoS has been proven weak in every coin that has adopted it. But Core devs know PoS is shit so they will never change from PoW. I doubt we will ever see a better solution than PoW to keep a blockchain working in a way that's as solid as possible.
