Change your mail to something you can't access, change your password to a random string you don't remember, log out and bam, your account is "deleted", or at least as close to it as you can get.

As for changing your name, you can request a namechange from theymos via PM, but chances are, you won't get one/it will just be ignored.

If it's because you dislike your account name: you've made one other post in this forum so far, so I don't think you'll be losing too much. Just make a new account and start fresh.

If it's because you would prefer that that name isn't associated with this forum: tough luck, sorry. As Lutpin said, you can *try* to get a name change approved but I doubt it'll go through; however, you can pay 50 BTC and get a VIP forum rank, and change your name through that... if you think that's worth it. Smiley

Deleting? Just log off and forget about it no more special rituals to perform to delete.

I know 2 members here who were able to change their username but they are "very" trusted and well known in this forum so I don't see any reason why if their request for change of name is not granted.
