Maybe time for an update and discussion on the subject. Which one do you recommend and use? For a Linux - win rig and win - win rig and win - Linux rig?

With all the usual reboot, safe, maybe open source?

Masha,

I'm using for Win rig TeamViewer (can remotely do about everything from my Win laptop and any Android device)

Kinda lame approach - but it works (with me)

Im with you on Team Viewer. I am and have been using it for a while and you really cant go wrong with it because you have full access to everything on your PC. If changes need to be made you can make them. 100% from me!

^Disable auto updates and disable incoming connections outside of your LAN (Options, Incoming LAN connections - Allow exclusively).

With those two TW never uses the internet.
