There I was thinking of bitcoin and it is contained in the title of this post. Is bitcoin can be used as a method of payment online?
Seeing that bitcoin has prices that always change when it is used as a payment method definitely prices will change as well. That would make traders must often change the prices in order not to incur a loss if the price drops. What do you think ? Is bitcoin can be used as a method of payment online?
of course. some online shops here, in my country, accept bitcoin as payment. according to one of owner of the online shop, my friend, bitcoin is good investment for thr future. he really loves bitcoin. so maybe that's the answer why bitcoin can be used as payment |

Yes Bitcoin is used as a payment method and now a days it is used by many merchants that accepts bitcoin as a payment method because it is very fast and has low transaction fees.....

Already there are lot many stores in various countries accepting bitcoin into their business. Some making it through intermediate who pay the store in term of dollars but user pays in terms of bitcoin. It takes time for getting more users involving in direct usage of bitcoin. Now very limited users does it.

Use a bitcoin payment gateway.They always update the price, so there is no need to change it manually. I guess you don`t understand how a btc payment gateway works and that`s why you are asking this OP. |

Certainly! Bitcoin is a decentralized peer to peer digital currency. So most definitely you can use it for online transactions. But my opinion is that, please don't use. Because you will be spending a fortune for silly things. Buy superbikes and cars with bitcoin is ok. They may be in your dreams and you always wanted to get one. But buying mobile recharge and daily groceries is not ok. Fiat is the best things to spend for that. |

I wonder why people didn't want it because Italy is one of the developing countries I know. Bitcoin should not be new to them. |

In my country bitcoin can be used already as a mode of payment for online transactions there are some developed website and app that's providing a services where you can convert your coins to fiat and cashout from banks and remittance outlet . And also they are providing a service where you can directly use your bitcoin to pay you utility bills , internet , school bills and etc .
Same is the case in my country. I can pay bills and top up mobile online with bitcoins and also buy things with the coins which are available on-line. For physical stores, there is no option of bitcoin and We can only use Fiat there. |

Bitcoin is more like gold than a currency, because the price fluctuates too much so at least me personally I tend to use it like I would use gold, this means that I don't usually use it to pay for stuff, I just hod it as an hedge against the collapsing financial system.

The thing is most people see bitcoins as a investment so very less people use it for the payment.They trade it later for high profit. it is just a good news i am hearing from you. i think that is such a good news. in our area the merchant do not know any thing about bitocin they have no knowledge of internet and specially bitocin. but i think there are so many other places where bitocin will be use as for the payment online. |

It's already being done, but in a bad way. Take BitPay for example. They take your bitcoin and instantly sell it. That's not good. You want to keep your bitcoin unsold, so it's best to use a bitcoin supporting payment method.

Many popular websites do accept bitcoin as online payment method, for example fiverr accepts bitcoin (even though it take a small fee for processing the order), then we have seen newegg etc. Bitcoin has potential to be included also on popular websites like amazon and ebay but needs time and bitcoin network needs to be imporved. |
