Bitcoin in the year 2100

Well its not easy to imagine the situation of Bitcoin in the year 2100, most thing will change around the world surely, not only financial systems and currencies. But i guess if Bitcoin will last its growth on the next coming few years it will become in short amount of time the first used currency worldwide.

The more time Bitcoin survives, the stronger it gets and more chances that it will keep living since having a long solid blockchain makes it more valuable than any new coin.

So any new system will need to have some game-changing technology to ever try to challenge Bitcoin. So yes, its not reasonable to think that BTC will still be very relevant in 2100.

But we still had a posterity which of course will meet the year 2100. The best way is to bequeath a good thing before we die. my estimate, in the year 2100 bitcoin is gone and replaced with a better payment system of the bitcoin.

Interesting question but honestly it will hard to predict what would happen in that year. No one knows if bitcoin have value on that year or some one would invent another currency that willl use world wide.

You got it man, i dont have any interest regarding on what would happen on bitcoin on next 2100 which we are all totally dead and we cant see on bitcoins path or development on that time. Speculations might really be different since members or user of bitcoin does have also different perspective and expectations about bitcoin.
We are all dead on that time and our sons or grandsons would follow next.

Ask ourselves first if we are still alive on that year. Very funny to think if what will happen to bitcoin by that year but the fact is that no one really knows until bitcoin will be alive. But the chance of no fiat on that year is possible because of modern technology and for sure in that year cashless society is already implemented but we don't if with bitcoin.

I think the time is 2100 won't we encounter, because all the people who made the posts here is dead. But my estimate, bitcoin in year 2100 also had none or can't survive until year 2100.

It's hard to predict even one year ahead, how shall we predict 84 years ahead now? Lol, I don't think anyone on this forum will be living then. Probably Bitcoin will be an old innovation, an old technology. I don't think it'll be used anymore, and probably mining will be done until then.

2100 don't you think it's a Lil far, cause like they say in the long run we all die. Coming to your question look where Bitcoin was, hardly people knew and where today it is. Every one wants a bite of it. Every one wants it as primary currency, who knows all countries decide to scrap their currencies and just use Bitcoin, all have same value, all stable and stronger. That's what I would love to see in 2100

That's actually too far from now and we may even be dead that time, I cannot wait for that time to enjoy what bitcoin can give me. It's not only holding in the long run that gives bitcoin a benefit, also by participating in the active market we can earn money so why wait too long when you cannot enjoy your hard work anymore.

Reaching that year 2100 is so funny to think but predicting the amount of bitcoin will be hard then since we do not
know how the money goes in the year that will pass. Predicting year of  OP is so far I guess the best prediction year if just and will range 2-10 years from now, I guess that will be most predictable compared to 2100.

I think it will really be an exciting thing to look forward to. You know that in2100, the technology will be even more advanced. I hope we all make it somehow. Our current trend for technological advances is really fast. They make it faster and faster, from macro, micro and now to nano. Every day, there is innovation that is happening. Researchers have goals to reach. Bitcoin will have been part of history, the history of cryptocurrency. It will stand as a stepping stone for the new cryptocurrencies that have and will be created.

Look at the changes in the last 80 years. In 2100 there will everything re-invented. They will laugh at bitcoin like we do about horse and buggy.

Not everything changes that fast though. Example, Gold and housing is basically still the same type of deal.  Its very possible we have better currency design by then though i agree.

I just hope that year, bitcoin has been used and put to good use. in fact, all countries have accepted bitcoin as legal tender, so users in the century bitcoin bitcoin able to use freely.

With Bitcoin we have an improved, digital gold, and with lighting network we can totally get rid of the annoying scam that the banking system is. We will have massive transaction volume for cheap transactions. This train can not be stopped.
