I believe bitcoin might be running successfully, and our future generations were the users of that time. Most of the bitcoin users believe upon the calculation made by the programmers that it will run till 2140 and based upon the adoption things could be changed.

it is still very long, but I feel that when it bitcoin has been accepted as currency by a country, or a bitcoin will be accepted by all countries as an alternative to payment. you might be able to use bitcoin at any store that you want. You can also redeem bitcoin that you have become money in the atm machine

I agree that it is really impossible to know the exact value of Bitcoin in year 2100.  Anything is possible to happen, probably some stronger altcoin will overtake bitcoin or bitcoin still reign as king of all crypto.  There maybe someone among the member of this forum who is still alive by that time   I hope he can look back at this forum especially this thread and more probably will laugh in our predictions LOL.

i guess by the year 2100 the price  of bitcoins would rise up to 1 million dollars and some people will be the powerful persons in the world who have the most number of bitcoins in the world .maybe there will be too much drugs too in the market and the black market would increase a lot .

2100 don't you think it's a Lil far, cause like they say in the long run we all die. Coming to your question look where Bitcoin was, hardly people knew and where today it is. Every one wants a bite of it. Every one wants it as primary currency, who knows all countries decide to scrap their currencies and just use Bitcoin, all have same value, all stable and stronger. That's what I would love to see in 2100

That's actually too far from now and we may even be dead that time, I cannot wait for that time to enjoy what bitcoin can give me. It's not only holding in the long run that gives bitcoin a benefit, also by participating in the active market we can earn money so why wait too long when you cannot enjoy your hard work anymore.

yes that is a fact, i think we should only think about the future of bitcoin but no too far. to me bitcoin will continue increasing and in future we will be able to use  bitcoin as a legal currency

2100? This is 22nd century. Will human nation survive until that year? This is just to far to even think about it. Wew don't have to be worried with so distant future, only the near one. One simple answer, if human will be able to servive till 2100 along with Internet then I guess there will be no problem for bitcoin by the year 2100.

By a rough estimation the mining process of bitcoin will need more than hundred years to complete mining of all 21M bitcoin. So, even in the year 2100 people will be speculating about future of bitcoin price levels but in millions.

Not necessary even if bitcoin is obsolete by that time, most people have very deep respect and admiration for the first of any invention, just look at the first plane, now every other plane is faster than it and still we admire the plane and those that built it.

Yes you are right, even if it is very valuable or the price deflates if we are dead by that time then it is useless. So i will no longer mind myself of thinking about what happen to bitcoin at that time. Maybe I will adjust the year to 2021 because at that time I am still young and if bitcoins price will reach 10k$ I will be very thankful and I will buy a house and lot. I appreciate the authors idea but I just want to be realistic.

Well, you have a point there but our job here is to predict the future especially if we are an investor or a trader. The future should bright for bitcoin and that positive thinking will make us successful as it will result to increasing of adoption that every investor have been dreaming. Even if we're all already dead at the year 2100, wouldn't you guys reproduce before you die? Of course you would. Looking for a long term investment like this would benefit even your grandson or maybe even your grandson's son. You can always pass on your bitcoin to your son and he'll be really happy to be rich by then.

Don't just think of yourself but also think of your future family that would definitely live long enough to reach the 22nd century. Maybe you're not the one who's going to enjoy all these money but your kids will definitely be forever thankful to you for investing money for their future.
