Knowing myself I would return it. If you keep it, it's the same thing as stealing. The only thing you should thing about, is to get it back to the person who has send t.

I think that I would sent it back but I maybe also would look up from who the address, I would not sent it blindly back. If it was from a sort of ponzi I would hold it for sure without any doubts,

Let's say you wake up some day and you get like 1 BTC. For me this is a lot. What do you do? You return back the BTC to the owner, do you keep it? and why.
I don't know what I would do to be honest. I mean who knows if the guy that just sent you this is a criminal or a good man? Very tough decision. For someone like me that has a small BTC wallet and is trying to make as much BTC as possible before its too late due price going too high, it would be hard to return it, but I would feel bad to keep it too.
If i know the person that sent me the bitcoins then I would ask him/them about the reason of this transaction. If they wanted this to happen then i would say thank you but if it was a mistake then i would return them the total amount - tx fee.

Easier for me to be honest about this under a pseudonymous name the same for me in my opinion, i would hold it as strong as i can in order to ave it as an investment, though if that would be a lot of bitcoins then i would give it back most probably

Easier for me to be honest about this under a pseudonymous name well i guess it would depend on how much bitcoins i would get from it, in my opinion the person who missends it does not need it too much if he or she can allow such mistake

I probably wouldn't notice as I rarely check my Bitcoin wallet balance. If I did notice then it would be a moral dilemma. When I see people leave money behind I flag them down and return it - but I may think twice with coin. Perhaps I would invest it and return it after turning a profit

If it is random, how can you know if it was meant to you or not?
Maybe someone sent you the bitcoins by purpose and the bitcoins are yours

The honorable thing would be to return it, but I wouldn't to be honest. Especially since I have no idea where it came from. It's not like when someone drops money on the ground and you pick it up.
But really, I have a better chance of getting struck by lightning while win the PowerBall....

A strange situation, you mean i would got it because he accidentally had put my wallet address while transfering whole bitcoin? The chances that this situation is going to happen are well... a BIT small, but i guess i would say the same like you,it may be hard to return it

I would hope anyone would return it but not necessarily to the same address. If I couldn't figure out who sent it I would keep it until I did, then return it after getting a signed message from the sending address.

I don't usually publicize my addresses. If someone sent me coins to one of my addresses and I wasn't expecting it, it means they were snooping the blockchain and my addresse(s) in particular. I would be super pissed off and probably keep the coins just to teach them a lesson for snooping.
However, I would make some effort to figure out that it was not sent truly by accident and not because of snooping (copy pasting my addresses). If this were the case I would return the coins.

Lol I think bitcoin address of Ponzi will not send bitcoin that bitcoin address not listed on their site they use robots that run automatically so it is less likely to incorrectly send bitcoin unless someone incorrectly sent to a specific address bitcoin that they did not realize

I will not send it back or return it because it's a blessing and we need to accept it lol. Lets be honest it's a very easy way to get profit because if we don't have much source of bitcoin i think most of the users will do the same. If it's 1 bitcoin or more, why would need to give it back. C'mon lets be practical, only few users are living their mind in the past that almost people are saints and good.

For me it is quite a difficult question in my current impoverished situation. But I'm the kind of person that will never accept other people's money, if they came to me by mistake. Who knows what was behind that money. Can people really worked hard and long to get them, and this way for a moment, lost them. Most of all, I would return.

Its a blessing haha. What a good way to explain it. But still if I know how to send it back then why not. Some of us dont really know how to do it. They just create an account, put bitcoin in there then leave it.

Can't decide. It's his fault actually of getting wrong with the address he's sent to. We all know that making transactions are sensitive.
On the other hand, I might feel guilty knowing it is truly his bitcoins. Especially if it's high amount.
