I'm currently using blockchain. I like it because it is secure, and they have a mobile app, so i can manage my wallet on the go.
I assume you're talking about blockchain.info right? If so, I really hope you don't store all your coins there because it's a third party having control over it. I personally only use bitcoin core as it allows me to run a full node from time to time. I say from time to time because it's quite heavy for my computer to keep the client open all day. I sometimes save a lot of bitcoin there and it was safe, even using blockchain.info for 3 years. I think blockchain very well-known and safe, do not worry about it. This is a very dangerous way of thinking. It doesn't matter how safe or well known a certain site as blockchain.info or an exchange might be. Nothing saves you from high level employees or hackers ripping the company and run with huge loads of coins. Bitfinex is a good example of that. That's why you should store the far majority of your coins in offline storage for your own safety. Better safe than sorry.

at the moment, Blockchain.info is the bitcoin wallet its simple and safe to use it. if do you want with secure more you can use bitcoin core, it is very good wallet but not easy to download the blockchain to sync it.

blockchain.info is the best choice if you are using only bitcoin but bit.ac is another wallet to consider it can store multiple alt coins as well. Also it has an exchange built in so you can exchange coins.

Blockchain.info is never been the best wallet. What could you do if they suddenly shut down their service? What if they decided to steal our funds stored to them? Best wallets are those you can 100% control your coins plus the security

This thread is a spam magnet, so i'm posting in it . Just make a poll for god's sake. I personally would recommend a hardware wallet, like a Ledger or a Trezor. Never use an online wallet. Ever.

Isn't there a risk that your hardware wallet starts to malfunction at some point and you'll lose the Bitcoins stored in it? I'm a bit paranoid about that. And do you think CryoBit cards are a safe option too?

Seems that many people in this thread believe this. The interface is nice -- but that's all it is. You may control your keys, but you don't control the software that generates and spends with them. They are vulnerable to certain kinds of JS/script attacks. I would recommend using a desktop wallet -- even a lite wallet like Electrum is much safer than using Blockchain.info.

I guess I'll be the first one to issue the usual warning to stay off online wallets. Controlling your private keys is the most important part of a wallet's security.
Simple wallets like Electrum or Mycelium for mobile are my two favorites.
Think so too! I am using the same ones!

Hardware wallet can be Malfunction or can be corrupt thats why its advisable that you always backup you wallet and the private key of your bitcoin address so that if it will happen you can be install it to other wallet while you are fixing your hardware wallet.. In my opinion i will stay at electrum because i am still not halving any issue. i want to use bitcoin core but the problem it can eat my whole drive..

When did you last try QT/Core? They've made some fantastic improvements over the past few releases that have drastically improved syncing time and reduced resource requirements. My node/wallet synced in several hours last time around, rather than over a day a couple years ago. With pruning, you can also lower your storage requirements. You can also throttle upload bandwidth if that's an issue. I suggest trying it out again! Electrum is cool, but there's nothing like the security of running your own full node.

When it comes to security and stability, I would got with Bitcoin core but it requires a lot of space and memory though. When it comes to speed, Iw ould go with Electrum. It is simple and has low resource usage.
