Any of desktop wallet is good for staking as well as storage of Bitcoin. Use of qt client give good security. But should have to take precautions as back up of .DAT file, Back up of wallet address with private Key etc.

this security majors can give more freedom and accessibility to user while using desktop qt client. And always keep your wallet encrypted.

Bro I am using online wallet only so far and I have used blockchain and coinbase. I would say coinbase is best among these both because coinbase is with low transaction fees.
Bro could you please explain me about the dat file and how it's vital in desktop wallet?

More users prefer Blockchain wallet for the easiest accessibility. For the long term holding localbitcoins were preferred for its increased security access as well trading ease.

The problem with these services is that they should never be used as a tool to store coins. And definitely not for the long term.

You at all times should be aware of the dangers of having someone else as the party that controls your coins.

That's why I never use online wallet services to store my coins. Not even for a few satoshis.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

Lots of people are using blockchain and its majority, and it recommended for those who are new in bitcoin but in my side it will be more safer or better if we are going to support wallets that are based in our country so that it will grow their economy and special promotion to grow more.

Even Electrum and Bitcoin Core are online wallets but they have a difference with other online wallets. The private keys of your addresses never leave your PC and if you install them in a safe PC at first and add a really strong password 13 characters , rest assured they are as good as hardware wallets which offer the user ultimate security for their coins.

Users should stay away from wallets like blockchain.info, xapo, coinbase as they are not really secure. It is someone else who is managing your bitcoins for you.

blockchain.info is a web wallet so it is not the best in any way. but among the online web wallets i think it is one of the best.

you should start using another wallet if you have more than 0.1 bitcoin and move to a cold storage if it is 0.5+ bitcoin. Electrum is a good choice for both.

Yes I agree that we need to use two factor authentication or 2FA but does anybody know how to disable second password in blockchain.info? I forgot that second password and I am not able transfer funds at the moment. Your answers would be very much appreciated.  Smiley

blockchain is the best choice for the beginner i think.
u just need phone number for wallet authentication code, email for verification, and google authentication if u want add some security for ur account.
i dont know how much u have to pay for the fee of the transaction.

hi guys,

how i do i choose my wallet plse?

I'm not quite sure if you're asking what I think you're asking. You don't need a how-to for choosing, just go to https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet and pick one of your preference. If you're asking on what to choose, I'd recommend electrum.

Well, many people using blockchain because it's easy to use and I'm sure many people out there, the first bitcoin wallet that they have is blockchain, same as me. For me, the best wallet is blockchain.

Like many people have said, Blockchain is the best wallet in my opinion. It's simplicity coaxed me yet it's 2 step authentication gave me ease of mind.
