Quote from: Carlton Banks
Don't you think abusing the trust of the people you're trying to hoodwink with attempts to screw Bitcoin and the people who made it what it is, do you think that isn't scamming Jonald?

For the record, here it is again: Jonald Fyookball is part of a campaign that has been attempting to deceive the entire Bitcoin community for over 18 months. He's part of the biggest scam in Bitcoin today.

What are you going to do now Jonald, give me another untrusted rating? You're a pathetic little coward, trying to discredit me with score sheets, all because you know you're totally unprepared to handle real adversity. I can run every troll like you off the forum, using only simple observations about your BS destructive propaganda. Oh, but you dropped your rating on me and ran away, so need for that. Like I said: coward

People are allowed to have different opinions, whether its about the blocksize, protocols, governance, or whatever.

However, when someone decides to dishonestly accuse me of being of scammer, I have every right to leave negative feedback.

Jonald, your "opinions" are part of an insidious and deceptive propaganda campaign against Bitcoin. No-one who understands that is going to take you or your petty behaviour seriously.

Jonald Fyookball is trying to run away with ALL your BTC. He wants Bitcoin bloated to the point where only weak-security wallets are possible, and has consistently supported every attempt to do so by Mike Hearn, Gavin Andresen and every other Bitcoin persona non-grata.

Jonald Fyookball is SCAMMING Bitcoin as an entire system

Regarding the cloud mining sites, pretty much anything that has been setup recently or any new so called cloud mining sites will no doubt be a scam and will make some money from those new to the scene attracted by their fake ROI.

Genesis mining myself anyway I have made my ROI as I signed up with them a long time ago and took up their X11 contract, expires in November so anything else from it is just a bonus, but as of now I would not put anything further into it or any other mining company.

Outside of the cloud mining, the obvious scam will be the HYIP ponzi sites and a good portion of new coin ICOs.

Ranked by what I think failed most.

1. Ponzi game
2. IPO Altcoin
3. Cloud mining
4. Trading platform

Out of the four, I do not want to see the fourth one happen. Simply because the fourth one can affect the price of Bitcoin.

Yeah  if trading sites will go scam then it will have an huge impact on the price of bitcoin, but at this stage I feel trading sites are safe to invest and can't disappear easily like others.

Lol I think a lot of sites cloudminning the footsteps hashocean to go run away the money or be a scam
and hashflare likely to be a scam. beware https://scontent-sin.xx.fbcdn.net/t31.0-8/fr/cp0/e15/q65/13576880_1399424300084139_9025930141478760047_o.jpg?efg=eyJpIjoiYiJ9

I think the site is cloudmining truly mine as bit-x and hashnast will not probably be a scam because they are really mine?
maybe you see from hashocean is cloudmining sites but the site was not a mining site ? they are sites ponzi / hyip and its reasonable if tehy go scam

Any site that involves bitcoin investment can run away in future, its not possible to point a finger on any particular site as all of them are traveling in a same boat.

I am going to guess some major exchange site will do a runner with people's btc a la MtGox. Maybe one of the major exchanges will do the "ATH? Oh no, our site has been hacked! All bitcoin were stolen. So sorry."

¯\_( ツ )_/¯

Or maybe it will one of the big bitcoin gambling sites, who knows.

As has been said many times before, never keep more bitcoin/fiat on a site than you need or can afford to lose in case that site decides to abscond with everyone's bitcoin monies.

well,it's too difficult for the trading site to turn into scam site if they do not get a big impact from bitcoin price, and getting deficit at any time. they think if this situation it happens the only way to decrease their losses is snatch all of their user's funds. it becomes easy way to can do it.

it has already started. i keep seeing new cloudmining services pop up everyday with a new name, there was actually a new one here on the forum in the services section asking people to advertise their scam.

i am afraid the same story of hashocean and many more cloudmining services before them is being repeated once again.

they are all going to do it sooner or later, that is the only one way that the owners can make any profit out of their website. because it is only a website and that is all, there is no mining going on with them they are fooling people with fake numbers on their site.

to the moon with bitcoin...

I agree they will run soon because they are just collecting and saving bitcoins now. If they reach their target amount then it will be the green light for them to do the running man challenge and start to giving common reasons to their customers to make them calm down like saying that they got hacked and they will try to fix it soon as possible but the real thing is they are just fixing them selves to look innocent Roll Eyes.

Ranked by what I think failed most.

1. Ponzi game
2. IPO Altcoin
3. Cloud mining
4. Trading platform

Out of the four, I do not want to see the fourth one happen. Simply because the fourth one can affect the price of Bitcoin.
The most often I see is a ponzi sites are always making mischief yeah I know bitcoin does not have any rules for decentralization. but ponzi sites like this are always disadvantages many people Ponzi sites / hyip will always die and live again with a new name. so beware

Frankly, you have no way of knowing if Bitcoin is a coin scam. You know, there were quite a few coins mined by Satoshi in the beginning. Also, Bitcoin isn't the first alternative currency so you can't say it's the real one just because it's the first. Albert Heijn made "Digital Cash" in the 80's - it failed. David Chaum made "Digicash" also in the 80's - it failed. First Virtual tried a system for only banks in the 90's - it failed. Webmoney in Russia and egold in Nevis - both failed. Beenz, flooz, wow gold, and linden dollars all allowed people to exchange value before Bitcoin. Bitcoin is way down the list from the first alternative currency and most likely won't be the final one. Something else is destined to appear and replace Bitcoin. We just need to be able to spot when it's over so we can sell and jump on the new bandwagon.
