Hi everyone!
I'm new here but I'm already posting a thread full of questions! 
In a recent period I became more and more interested in bitcoin mining but doing some researches (above all in this forum) I learned that bitcoin mining is extremely difficult in terms of efforts and money spent, so I changed my mind and decided to learn about bitcoin.
Cutting to the chase, I just wanna know if it's profitable trying to mine altcoins with an USB ASIC. (I just wanna do it for fun and I read that USB ASIC bitcoin mining it's possibile losing about 0,13$/month, but I just wanna be in pair with the power supply cost)

You can mine SHA256 coins with Sha256 asic.

i think if you can handle electric fee then you are good to mining altcoin. and i suggest to mining scrypt because scrypt have many option that you can mining and the diff of scrypt is not to high to mining, beside that you buy scrypt hardware to start mining. and for the store online, you can start to search on many places that recomended by most people. and other suggestion, do not use USB because you only get small hashrate, try to use A2 Terminator Scrypt Asic which would give you good result for first start.

 The Moonlander for Scrypt is probably the closest to a profitable USB-type plug-in device.
 In THEORY, some of the "plugs into a USB port" ASIC that aren't just a dongle-sized device like the Gridseed 80 blades MIGHT make a profit - if you have VERY VERY cheap electrc - but the profit would be very small and the majority of your mining income would be paying the electric bill.
