Here we go. I have used randompicker.com to draw the winner among 138 entries.
That's a joke, right?
https://www.randompicker.com/Project/Public/Protocol.aspx?Key=335414x62961
You used a test drawign, not a final one.
As a result, "The project has not been finished yet.".
We can't either check what numbers were used for the draw, nor can we know how often you were test drawing to get exactly that result.
You've destroyed any chance to make this "fair" or to show any "transparency" in your draw.

The only reason I used the test was to not pay for the draw since it was over 100 contestants. We already stated in the rules that NO ONE involved with coinmillions can win, and we have zero knowledge of the winners identity.

That said, if you have a better solution I'm all ears. We obviously aren't out to do anything wrong or unethical.

Also. Nothing would stop anyone from running several 'final draws' either so I'm not sure how that would solve it.

If you know of a smart provably fair solution, I'd be happy to use it on the next giveaway in a week or so. Actually, I'll be more than happy to pay someone to run a provably fair drawing.

Hm, given that this promotion is supposed to bring some revenue to your site and the fact, that the prizes don't come free either,
I see very small arguments for not paying for the draw, given that it would be way more transparent that way.

We already stated in the rules that NO ONE involved with coinmillions can win, and we have zero knowledge of the winners identity.
It would be easy to bypass that rule, given that the winners are supposed to stay anonymous (for the sake of everyone, that's a good thing).

That said, if you have a better solution I'm all ears. We obviously aren't out to do anything wrong or unethical.
Having a (paid) final draw might be a solution.
I'm not accusing you of doing anything wrong or unethical.
I'm just looking for a way to make this giveaway fair and transparent to all participants (yes, that's indeed including me).
After all, they gambled at your site for it, don't you think they deserve it?

Also. Nothing would stop anyone from running several 'final draws' either so I'm not sure how that would solve it.
Actually, they list all draws you had in the last 3 days.
So unless you're going to create new (paid) accounts and do final drawings up until the result suits you, that's indeed preventing you from redrawing.
Have a look at this draw here as example:
https://www.randompicker.com/Project/Public/Protocol.aspx?Key=334903x31728
You can see the list of entries and search for your own entry in the box below. You can also see the name of the draw, the date, the terms and most importantly, the last 3 days of draws.
https://www.randompicker.com/Project/Public/ProjectsRecent.aspx?Key=334903x31728
That way, you would catch any try to redraw the whole giveaway and could easily verify your participation in the list, aswell as the winners.

If you know of a smart provably fair solution, I'd be happy to use it on the next giveaway in a week or so. Actually, I'll be more than happy to pay someone to run a provably fair drawing.
An easy solution without the need of a 3rd party would be using the block hash (or the last 1/2/3 characters of it) of an upcoming block in the bitcoin blockchain.
It's the common way how raffles in the collectible section are organised provably fair, without the need to trust any 3rd party drawing service.
If you need help with organising a drawing that way, I'd be willing to assist you.

This drawing is a joke where is the list with participators anyway for the drawing. Who tell me that mark and the other two names isn't only on that list. Why do you only provide a screenshot and not post the link provided by randompicker website itself. Even particular draw was more good then this what you have done now. Bye trust gone by just one giveaway.

You make excellent points, and I feel sort of dumb for not taking the integrity of the drawing more seriously.

We would happily pay you to organize our weekly or biweekly drawings. Actually, having a third party do it might be a really smart idea, and if we do it provably fair on the blockchain even better. PM me and we can get it setup!

I'll post the list of participants when I get home. It was not our intent to obfuscate or confuse the drawing. That said, I think we need a better method and we will use a provably fair third party community member for our coming giveaways and contests.

Thank you for the input.

Unless Lutpin is using some provably fair method that will be posted, although she is a third party, it isn't provably fair. Provably fair means that anyone can verify the raffle is legit. If you want to use the blockchain, you can consider using the script that was used for another raffle by someone else to generate a random number using the hash of a certain block. Obviously some changes will need to be made, like numbering entries and changing the script to generate a number in the range of the participant number. You can announce the block ID after or before the raffle closes, but make sure to pick a block that hasn't been generated at the time of posting. Also, for numbering, you can consider making people post their usernames in a thread here and using the post numbers as the number.

Lutpin knows what she does and this isn't the first time Lutpin does it.
Trust me, when it comes to being provably fair, I take matters seriously and I know how to ensure it.

If you want to use the blockchain, you can consider using the script that was used for another raffle by someone else to generate a random number using the hash of a certain block. Obviously some changes will need to be made, like numbering entries and changing the script to generate a number in the range of the participant number.
I'd rather do straightup numbering of the participants to ending characters of block hashes.
IIRC that chasing casascius raffle was kind of a mess, I'd rather do it easy for everyone to understand and verify.

You can announce the block ID after or before the raffle closes, but make sure to pick a block that hasn't been generated at the time of posting. Also, for numbering, you can consider making people post their usernames in a thread here and using the post numbers as the number.
I've been involved in enough raffles over at the collectibles section (maily as participant) and even helped out in some (those last few organised by mj).
Point is, I know my way around, no worries.

It was all a trick. Mark does not exist. He says to have lost the password, but I doubt it.
hamyrapi entered with 2 accounts: hamyrapi and Hamurapy.
This draw is a shame.
