Nothing about Factom? They are to data what Ethereum is to smart contracts.

And on-topic: 12,364,097*30 = 370922910 so 300M. Not a impossible number. I can see 100M happening short-term.

WOW!

Steem already made it 30x and back.  I quit following my own thread!  Have any others had any luck?

Monero did.

I voted 3 billion. Monero made it over 180 million USD at its peak and I live in Canada.  Wink

The scenario is Bitcoin seizing up over the 1 MB blocksize limit.

Edit: Current Monero market cap: 113,047,887 CAD

Concerned that blockchain bloat will lead to centralization? Storing less than 4 GB of data once required the budget of a superpower and a warehouse full of punched cards. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/87/IBM_card_storage.NARA.jpg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punched_card

I voted for litecoin. I think it has some more runs left in it.

But for most of the bigger coins to go 30x, bitcoin would need to go higher as well otherwise 1 litecoin would go for almost a fifth of a bitcoin, which is quite unrealistic apart from comparing the total amount of coins.

Not if Bitcoin seizes up over the 1 MB blocksize limit. Litecoin has an effective 4MB blocksize limit because of the 2.5min blocktime so the above would not be unreasonable.

if my favorite coin's market cap went up 30x it would reach 30 billion dollars market cap because it has 10 billion dollar market cap right now. and yes you guessed it right it is called bitcoin

the rest of the coins are just like a fling for me, more like a one night stand that I get out of my system in a very short time when I dump them when they are on top (talking about the price) Cheesy

if you can give factom.inc this idea I believe they will greatly appreciate it. Factom finally lands the contract to hide Ashley Madison records on Zerocoin's patented "invisichain

none of the altcoins market caps can go up 30x unless we are talking about a dead coin that goes from 1 satoshi price to 30x that price to reach the 30x market cap.

the rest no matter what they are if they are big coins like LTC, XMR, Dash,... are already at their peek and will go up a much smaller amount in case of a rise nothing as big as 30 though.
