Kids in general shouldn't gamble, especially with money because they can easily become addicted in their adolescents. That's why you need to be over the age of 18 or 21 in most places to enter a casino.

Someone just argued with me that gambling can be done by kid too..

In online gambling sites we dont know who is the user, maybe he/she is adult or not. But thats the thing parent should be aware of. Dont let your child practicing gambling cause their only child their not value money as adult do. Leave it to adults.

i think no one will suggest you and will answer you in yes that gambling make for kids. kids should continue their study. gambling is also not good for elders. they should minimize their such activities.

Gambling is best suited for teenagers and not for kids, mainly because they always seek for more fun activities and sometimes some income and hence find gambling as their best friend. Though I think gambling is not what should be done by kids and most casino have rule of only 18+ are NOT allowed.

I agree with this. And imagine kids in third world countries if they are allowed to gamble. Instead of studying hard they will only think of gambling and instead of buying food they will gamble with the little money they have. It could be considered a form of exploitation.

Gambling for kids means destroying their life.They should stay far far away from gambling.Even adults are not able to handle the pressure and tension in gambling.So just cannot imagine kids doing gambling its really bad for them.

Personally, i don't think that gambling is made for kids, you can see most of people can't handle it, sometime i also frustrated when i continuously lose in gambling. So how can kids handle it.
Gambling is difficult game for kids, and Secondly Gambling is a money game, only those people can play it who have money, so how can kids arrange money. My personal view is that kids should avoid it until they reach the age of 18.

I think it is not legal nor illegal for kids as long as they have guidance and a proper advise for a kid why they should or shouldn't do gambling, all they need is information. Guidance is still need to be strict since they are still a kid.

Not a good idea to train a kid to gamble for they may find it normal to gamble money intended for something else.
on the other hand its good to train kids about money so that at a nearly stage they see how to save and earn money. it is important so that they learn accounting.

Yes that's very true. If the foundation of the kid is revolved around gambling he could become a degenerate. I'm not saying that is 100% sure, but the odds are high will become one.

I didn't train my son in money, if someone gives him money he actually gave it to me. But he actually knows how to use money, and he knows that money can buy what you want. But of course depending of the amount that we are buying. 

I know people who found about gambling at their home. Parents and relatives playing Mahjongs etc. But I've never really heard people training their kids hardcore to learn the game and master it.

There are some parents teaching their child how to use cards, and I know parents like them. And I guess my mother is one of them. 
She teach us how to use and play the card for her to have a past time with us. And sometimes there are money involve while we are playing. 

well your mother teaches you wrong doings in your child hood and really gambling is very bad thing you insert on kids minds its because it can brought them to be hook at it on their early stage of life and it can teach them to fool nor make some dirty works just to make their self win and thats one of the reasons why we dont really teach kids to do this instead we must teach them reading books thats fits for their age.

Yes, I agree that parents would be the one who will discipline and teach their children of good manners and right conduct, their should be the one who supervise their children of what is good and bad doings and gambling is one of the bad doings that children would do not learn.

Yes if we teach this to our kids, We only spoil our kid's life with our hands. So better don't teach them and also don't do any gambling activities in front of them. The elders are only suffering a lot to come out from this gambling. In this situation, kids learn this means their entire life will be gone.

Indeed true, if you teach them gambling while it is a peak time for them to study then you actually are asking them to become hardcore gamblers. I sometimes wonder how many of us gamblers are kids or students and not really matured people.

20 years old is too much. That's extremely late bloomer. 16 year old kids (or even at younger age) know how to manage themselves. They know how to discipline themselves, they know how to make decisions wisely and most importantly they know what is wrong and what is right.

On a side note, I think it's all dependent on the kid. I don't think gambling would harm kids unless the kid himself become really addicted to it. I've seen kids in my area that are just 6 year-olds playing colored dice games in carnivals but it doesn't give impact to them that much. They don't get addicted or something. In their mind, they are just playing. If they win, then they'll go with bunch of toys. They don't mind losing money since they know that their parents would give them money the next day.

Gambling is made for people with basic intelligence so this is one of the reason why the rules of most gambling games are not complicated.
You can say that even a kid can understand the rules and play. However, there is an age limitation because a kid does not have the money and does not know how to think for himself. This limitation is to prevent kids from being addicted to gambling at a young age.

It is possible for a kid to gamble illegally because it can be true that a kid now how to gamble but even if they knew they should not gamble.
When they become adults they can decide for them selves if they want to gamble.

If adults cannnot handle money very well or some adult person or gambler out there, then how should a kid can manage that situation, right.

And even more gambling is addicting and a lot of adults are addicted to it and almost lose a big amount of money then what can we expect for a more innocent thinking like a kid.

Of coarse not ! The child is not mature for preparing to lose money. A child hasn't much and is the parents money. Parents will be angry if their money is for addiction of the child's gambling.

But I think gambling sites would now hunt for kids to join their casino, as most of think that kids will loose more money than an adult. Anyways jokes apart, I think you should never even talk about gambling in front of kids and suggest them gambling as a sin.
