Is gambling made for kids????

Having read various posts on the thread I can't but say all of us or say majority of us have agreed on a position which is that gambling is not made for kids and this cuts across various climes and societies of the world to have agreed on this position but the issue is that since we have all agree, then how do this kids have access to gambling which is not common to a particular locality? Is it failed parenthood or failed society or even failed government?...

With the current situation everyone can access internet so Children also can access gambling site, parents should know about this and take the responsibility to protect their kids from those site, society and government also have responsibility about this too but the first its should parent to protect always keep on what their kids access in online site

All of us has a major role to influence our kids not to gamble. We are accountable for letting our kids to play these gambling games.. so we have to be extra careful and vigilant in their activities bacause there might be someone might influence to do gambling.

Clearly gambling isn't for kids. It really shouldn't even be a question. The earlier kids are exposed to gambling the more prone they are to having a gambling addiction when they grow up.


Clearly never let your kids gamble!!! Giving them lottery tickets for Christmas isn't a fun game. It's gambling.

Clearly lottery tickets is also form of gambling and the first step towards this attractive world, even this is fun but it had so bad effect on our life when kids start taking interest into these kind of things which can give them a lot money with fun than surely they will start finding more similar which have chance to money.

Yes gambling is for everyone but there must be an exception. As the saying says, "in every rule there is an exception."

So kids must not be into gambling and they must be exempted for those "everyone" you are saying.

And at the very young age, kids will learn to do things unexpected when they got addicted in gambling without proper guidance as they grow.

There cannot be any general rule like gambling is for everyone because almost every country has the age restriction for alcohol, porn and everywhere it is applicable. So, we cannot have a new general rule just for gambling.

As long as a kids are unable to filter out what is good and what is risk for their money and helath, we should not introduce them gambling.

Yes actually some may not apply age limits in gambling and free to anyone. But there are some who apply the minimum limit to gamble and usually can gamble for the age limit should be 18 years and over, both online gambling and real gambling is already implementing some of the things.

I would agree if there is a minimum age limit in order to gamble. Because with the minimum threshold that would make gambling more organized and will prevent minors to approach the negatives. Due to the fact that many children who get money to gamble with crimes because they do not have their own income.

I dont think  that  kids  have  more  chance to being  a gambling addict  because  our awareness is  different from them and also  their minds cant cope  up  with the risk  involve and  the aims. For example   kids wont really matter  for  money as  long he do play gambling and  enjoys  himself  it depends on a certain  kid  on  how  he treat it  or  what is gambling  for him. You are right, introducing gambling to kids will definitely have negative consequences like inducing them to have bad habits. Even a kid has enough packet money to gamble, gambling will disturb his studies and extracurriculam activities too.

Online gambling might lead to obesity/heart/diabetic problems in younger age itself. So, definitely gambling is not made for kids.

Gambling is not made for kids there is no debate as no one with brain with say yes. Gambling as general is not seen as good habit in almost every society even it is practices as fashion in elite class or a source of leisure. Kids should stay away and concentrate on more healthy things to enhance their creativeness. Gambling means putting a bear on your abilities once you get addicted to it.

Definitely that's they idea but there are parents who are irresponsible enough to allow their kids to gamble. They think it's cool so at the young age they teach their kids to learn gambling. They have to realize that gambling is only for matured audience and not kids.

They are not even parents if they are letting their children to learn about gambling. Because a responsible parenthood requires to protect your children and teach them properly how to be a good citizen and if a child has very good attitude that will signify on how you became a very good parent to them. Trading is a very deep subject, I really doubt many kids in this day and age have the mental capacity to understand all the small nuisances and details that can make you a successful trader.

and why not stop focusing on teaching them any form of money making activity whether it gambling or trading and start focusing on their future instead . As a parent the first thing you need to do is to send them school to be educated and why not encourage them to be active on school . It is not yet the time for them to exposed to some sort of gambling or even trading as they are only a kid .

You may try to teach them how make some money businesses like selling of some stuffs that they don't need anymore. But with these type of suggestions, you are just making your kids into early stage of falling down. Think about a person who is really addicted in gambling but what will happen they will lose everything when they are not able to control themselves, how about the young ones?
