Hi!
What do you people think about making a living by trading BTC/USD or BTC with other ALT Coins?
Do you think it's possible to make a living with an excellent starting capital? ($100k ~)
I am looking to get at least $5000 per month profit with this capital
Can we have this kind of income as a "sustainable income."
Is anyone making a living trading? What kind of strategy do you like more.

If you have a starting capital of $100,000 in BTC, you should do fine, but you need to be smart about it all!!! If you are looking for some investment strategies and such, please PM me. I do not make a living on here, but everything I have on here is because I have earned it online. I did not invest nothing into it at all.

You need to have a huge amount of bitcoin that you're trading to make a living at it. You also have to be very good at timing the ups and downs of the bitcoin market.

What would you say a huge amount is to make a living? You don't necessarily need a *huge* amount, although having a large initial capital will allow you to take low-risk investments/trades and still profit a respectable amount from it. Amounts that you should be looking for varies on what your style of trading is; are you a risky player, or a low-risk, low-reward kind of guy? Also, I'm not sure if you are comfortable and have experience in trading, but if you're not, I would recommend for you to take a small amount of money and start getting yourself familiar with it; that way, you can learn from your mistakes and not lose much at all. TL;DR: amount varies on how you trade, and best of luck with trades.

Hey there, to be honest, my plan is to move to a low-cost of living country and make around 10k per month to spend + more to add to my capital. 20k would be ideal, but that is 25% on my capital which I'm not sure its possible so probably a 10% monthly would be a better aim. I would like to have mid-risk trades and low-risk trades. My starting capital could be 100k or a little bit more depending on potential. Do you think it's possible to make that amount per month with that money?

yes i think it is possible. but it is risky thing to do that is why i always keep my investment in trading a little small to take smaller risks. but it can be done because there is a lot of very good opportunities for making profit especially in altcoin markets.

With recent up`s and downs you could earn 5 000 $ in couple days, and to have free rest of the month. You need to have skills to make money from trading, its not so easy at all. You really need to know how to catch that moments before big rise/dump. You need to find a way to inform your self about future events and a way to predict how much impact will something have on btc price. Your trading will depend from that, and if you are wrong you can lose a lot of money. Trading and make a living from trading is not for everyone, you need to have knowledge about it. I wish you good luck, and be careful.
You can make your tread here, and if you are good in trading you will have followers. Of course if you have a wish to share your informations and predictions in order to help people to earn some money.

It's possible for me to make a living with trading but to make sure about it you need to study first and well educated to avoid trading failure and panic selling. With that amount ($100k) it's very possible to earn at least 10% just choose the right alt coin and crowded public exchange because if you join crowded exchange site it will be easier to you to earn profit.

is it possible to make a living with trading bitcoin/USD or bitcoin/altcoins? yes.
is anybody doing it? yes
are all traders successful doing it? no
you see, trading is not as easy as you may think. so jumping in with a lot of money and no experience can lead to disasters and you will lose a lot of your money. so i suggest you start smaller and then in time if you feel like trading is profitable for you then invest more.

Yes, you can make living by trading btc/usd but you have to buy and sell in a right time,do not trade when you are in emotional, you need to be able to concentrate on the charts and not get caught up with other things going on. Better start with small amount before put all your fund to minimize the loss

If you do have the 100k to spend in trading to make your living then i would be extremely careful. You could end up putting that 100k into someone elses pocket and end up with nothing, All it takes is a few bad traded and then taking a few bigger risks due to losing big a couple of times. Before you know it that 100k could be eaten up. In my opinion its a pretty big risk.

With large capital one can earn a good amount, but as questioned its not at all a sustained income. Altcoins won't be in rise all the time, so only based upon the fluctuations one can earn high.

Its really hard to make living only with trading its a bit risky...need a huge amount and experience in trading as well...otherwise you should also have a decent income apart from trading ...

Hi! What do you people think about making a living by trading BTC/USD or BTC with other ALT Coins?
it is a very risky thing to do, so I don't think I would ever do it for a living. but it is definitely a possible thing and there are people who are doing it right now and are successful in it. both markets are good, you can predict btc/usd market better but the changes are smaller. on the other hand predicting altcoin markets is a bit harder but because of big changes you can make so much more money. Do you think it's possible to make a living with an excellent starting capital? ($100k ~) I am looking to get at least $5000 per month profit with this capital Can we have this kind of income as a "sustainable income."
it is possible to earn that much but it will require that much more work and stress. because it is risky you will have to endure a lot of stress with each swing and the bigger the capital the bigger the pressure is going to be. Is anyone making a living trading? What kind of strategy do you like more.
I am making money with trading but since I don't like the risk, I am not committed to it with big money. but the earning is good.

Living by trading is possible but going all in one asset is really risky. So is important to diversy your portfolio (read someting about Modigliane & Miller). Yes, 100k should be good , but need to be split in not less than 20-30 different asset, on 4-5 different markets. *Want profit? Ask me how!

yes some people could make living with their trading activity and seems your basic capital looks very huge for me but very difficult to get stable income in trading because not all day you will earn profit and even for traders expert also have experienced to loss but if you have good knowledge to predictions the prices may be you could reach your profit target but in trading huge capital money doesn't guarantee will earn huge profit too

I dont even know where you would need to earn 10k a month to live comfortable unless you were wanting to live somewhere like london or newyork. Id be more than delighted if i could even make 2k a month from trading, I could quit the day job and move into full time bitcoin but thats not going to happen anytime soon.
