Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

If I get a few I will put up a node and see if helps. But for some reason looks like the entire network is behind.

I closed my wallet for a few hours and reopened it, let it syn.
The wallet was then syn very slowly.

Why mining blocks are assigned to do address that I never created? Have no idea but turn on coin control and make sure you start consolidating the coins on 1 address occasionally or else you could end up with a wallet that perma hangs. But hopefully dev can answer and fix it. |

Why mining blocks are assigned to do address that I never created? You will have a hidden address within your wallet for solo purposes, if you create a new receiving address that will be the one that shows up next a a new solo address is created and all wallets do that. |
