If you want an address for yourself starting with "11111111" then you can use vanitygen (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=25804.0) to generate the private key. The difficulty of this address is too high !

If you are searching for someone else's bitcoin address then this is what i could find : https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=bitcoin+address+11111111*

I want the private key for the address and I want to have an address like this because it looks very cool. Wink

Best regards,

Patrick Smiley

Do you know how to create a part private key?  This is the only way to get a secure private key if I generate it for you.  Also, I can't start it until I'm home though... about 6 hours.
There are others on this forum that offer this service.

If youve got a decent graphics card these are easy to get, I have hundreds. just use the vanity generator.

Could you please generate me a address with the beginning "11111111"?

Please send it then to me per private message.

Best regards,

Patrick Smiley

Me sending you a private key for an address is not a safe thing to do because i would then have access to your address and any bitcoins you put in it, you would need to make a split key first and then send that to me , Atm my gpu is fully used for mining though Sad

Edit:- i can see if i have an old one complete with private key that you can have but you wouldnt be able to put anything in it without risking it getting stolen.

I just need it once to show it a friend. Wink

Alright, if you decide you want one generated properly then go here https://www.bitaddress.org/bitaddress.org-v3.2.0-SHA256-ad4fd171c647772aa76d0ce828731b01ca586596275d43a94008766b758e8736.html and choose vanity wallet then copy the private and public key, you would need to send whoever is making your key the public part and you would keep the private part.

Ive had a look and i have other numbers but no 1s? heres some examples if you want any.

On my phone it looked like 7 1's which might take me a couple of weeks but I see now that it is 8 1's and that is nearly impossible for me to generate in any reasonable amount of time.
This is a very difficult address to generate.  I'm sorry, I cannot offer it.
