Hello there. Just want to add these: Bitcoin's design paper (seems to be the beginning of the project - you can download the full paper in pdf here) and announcement of Bitcoin v0.1 (which was the first released of bitcoin), was both published on cryptography@metzdowd.com. You can also see it's timeline from 2008 to 2013 here at en.bitcoin.it. Maybe these will help you in starting your job. Good luck!

Someone on this forums spent 10 000 Bitcoin to purchase two pizzas in 2010. Currently the 10 000 Bitcoin is equivalent 6,879,000 Bitcoin. .
