Hello everybody, I'm wanting to purchase some Antminers for mining bitcoin here at home, but I'm researching where to buy, I suggested the very site of Bitmain, but some people are saying that in the bitmain site they enrrolam much to send and often end up not sending or even the products arrive lost, or are still in the Customs and return to the sender after which you are not reimbursed. I wonder if this is true? The site is reliable? You recommend me? What would be the second option to buy Antminers? Thanks for the help...

Yes,  I never purchased from them, but according to others on the forum they are pretty reliable although you do have to worry about the items you mention which can happen with anybody.  If you're really worried about all of those things then purchase a miner of eBay or Amazon and pay a 30% premium.  Of course this will eat into your profitable, but you'll no longer have to worry about the problems you mention because if there's a problem you'll have eBay, Amazon, PayPal, and your credit card company all backing you to insure the transaction goes as planned.

So basically like anything else in life you get what you pay for.  There's some risk from purchasing from Bitmain, but they're manageable and it's all part of earning/mining for bitcoins.

The site is absolutely reliable, no doubt about it. A good friend of mine have bought several miners from them. But it's true that it took more time than he expected to arrive.

Bitmain products such as antminer s5 and antminer s7 and s9 are reliable products to use in mining. Anyway dont purchase s5 it is no longer good to use it. Bitmain products are of high quality just dont purchase it directly from bitmain. Instead find a third party that has a good reputation that sells bitmain antminers. If you have it keep in mind to sell your old items and buy new and more powered version.

indeed that what all the asic suppliers do.. they ship you the miners but with a huge delay, this ruins your profit , and every single day counts much..!with all that mining competition going on..

Bitmain is the most biggest hardware seller and you could search the company info, and many miners buy to them and they have updated latest hardwares list so you really need to make sure that you buy to a legitimate bitmain site.

Goodluck for your your plans.

I have not bought anything from bitmain so I don't have anything to say for myself. However, I do have a distant friend that has bought antminers and as far as I'm concerned, it actually arrived to him safely although if I remember correctly, he panicked for a bit since it arrived a day late than the discussed delivery time.

Other than that, I guess it's safe to say that they are reliable if you don't mind that happening.

Bitmain is already well known so I can say that the site is reliable, if you have any problem while purchasing your antminers you can always contact their support service they are really helpful folks Smiley

But first you should research about the custom's law in your country, some countries may ban importing an antminer or there may be a tax applicable on it Smiley

There's no second option, Most of the miners bought their antminer from Bitmain Wink
