What would u consider, what would u think, is the MOST WIDELY used cryptocurrency, both when it comes to :

the usage all over the world, usage by people from all walks of life, usage by different genders, usage by all kinds of age groups?


Apart from the Bitcoin,  which alty would this be?

Thank u for this interesting input! But then again that's not real measurement of widespread usage.

I can run script that sends transactions from one account to the other and appear like the network is widely used. But in reality it's just me.

Here is my list of the top three altcoins:
1: WAVES
2: Ethereum
3: Litecoin

Waves is number one because it has a great future and a good team. Ethereum second because that amazing price increase and then that dip to buy more . Third is litecoin since it is a very stable coin and I like that.

Luckily I also like these three alts at this moment. as a trader I believe these altcoins are ideal alts for a crypto currency lovers..
I want to increase this with:

1: Lisk
2: Dogecoin
3: Rise
4: CBX

lisk and dogecoins have no need any descriptions they are already very known coins. CBX also here from few years but now it started growing and getting a good market. and have some unique features also. like Staking from wallet and increase their quantity.

if you don't count trading as usage, and i guess you shouldn't, then i've really no idea. i guess it has to be doge if they're still busy tipping each other all the time.

1. Lisk - Great coin still in beta/alpha but has great potentional
2. ETH - A big trader coin but took a massive hit with the DAO failure code
3. Litecoin

this is actually interesting and something i wonder myself a lot.

the solution would be to write a script that reads each coin block explorer and count the actual number of transactions during last 24h blocks and calculate an average based on coin technical features

2. those acting as a regional coin : null (but likely a huge market once tapped)

im not really familiar with alt coins not even with bitcoin lol but ive done some research i think litecoin is a good altcoin, i once admired eth but with the incident i lost my confidence so if i were to use alt coin ill just stick with what is widely use and that is litecoin

Before i checked bitinfocharts.com i would expect it is Litcoin.  Sadly bitinfocharts.com dont offer transaction infos of all big cap coins.

What are people using these other coins for?  I always chuckle when I think of that.  No one is buying any goods or services with eth or lisk.  Or even doge for that matter.   Am I wrong?  What are folks using Lisk for?

why do people participate in an ICO? because they want to sell with profit.
there is no use case for LSK at the moment.

They're pretty much the only alts you can buy stuff with directly.  I know some alts have "company stores" but as far as third party adoption goes it's pretty much just those.

Litecoin and Doge - only alts? Only partially my friend. There are other alts u have not discovered yet that u will be amazed about
