据日本经济新闻网近日报道，联想将以1.95亿美元的价格，收购联想NEC合资控股的个人电脑公司的大部分股权。目前NEC拥有合资公司的4.9万股股票，将于7月28日前向联想出售其中的90%，只保留4900股。作为股份转移交易的一部分，联想NEC控股公司将向NEC发行递延股份，这部分股份拥有控股公司的投票权，但却没有股息。NEC将保留33.4%的投票权，这足以让NEC在重大事项上行使否决权。

这次接盘计划，进一步加深了外界对联想仍在把PC业务作为核心主业的印象。与华为等依靠内生式增长相比，联想一直走的是通过海外并购实现外延式增长的路子。2005年，联想收购IBM的PC业务，一跃登上世界舞台。2011年6月，联想收购德国Medion AG，成为欧洲第三大PC厂商。而与NEC PC业务并购后，联想NEC已经成为了日本最大的PC厂商。
