They don't need to. As long as they have crude gold and diamonds, they can sell it for food and armaments. Also, they can't risk using internet with anonymous hunting them down. Besides, they get all their stuff for free from the guild

I think they are getting all of their money by selling oil to Turkey at a great discount.

Its actually a hard question lol and you cannot expect a "direct answer" probably no one know's here for sure.
In my opinion they do,at least some part of them, bitcoin can provide them an excellent way to store money in one place, without a risk of losing it.
And most important, they can withdraw it at any place in world.

The Isis attackers in Paris were "rumored" to have used BTC along with the PSN chat to communicate.

I do belive the Bitcoin thing was debunked though.

They have enough resources from oil, enough munitions from somewhere Roll Eyes and enough radicalized people to stretch this war out for a long time.

Yes.

A quick google search could have answered this for you, but oh well:

ISIS Using Bitcoins - An Overall Analaysis: https://securityintelligence.com/isis-are-they-using-bitcoins-to-fund-criminal-activities/
ISIS Has a Bitcoin Wallet: https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/ghostsec-isis-bitcoin-wallet-worth-3-million/
How ISIS Gets Funds: http://www.wearethemighty.com/articles/10-ways-isis-pays-bills
List of ISIS Bitcoin Addresses (1 Year Ago): https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/2j8mdg/active_bitcoin_addresses_for_isis/

So, yes. They do. But expecting them to put all their eggs into one basket is silly - they have their funds spread around. Their twitter accounts also frequently post bitcoin addresses that you can donate to, though they are shut down quite fast.

EDIT: I should note - they use bitcoins, but most often it's for accepting donations or paying for servers. It's not 'omg they're smuggling huge amounts of cash with BTC!!!'. Since ISIS/Daesh is a large terrorist organization, you'll find all sorts of sympathizers aiding them with whatever means necessary.

Im pretty sure they do,like you.
It is just too comfortable for them. They really dont have to smuggle cash, diamonds or gold through the countries, they can just liquidate the goods in their country or somewhere else, and buy bitcoins online for it.
Then simply transfer it to the wallet, and cross the border without anything that can get them in trouble.
This is just too good opportunity to spread the evil for them.

Provably. They need to make remitances or transfer of money and bitcoin is a good option for them to use since it is fast and can easily sent else where in the world. The fact that it doesn't need any identification to transfer bitcoin and to anonimize the transaction, they will surely use it.

I think that nobody except the ISIS member can tell for sure, but i assume they actually use BTC for their activities.
BTC seems almost perfect for them to send for them agents, they dont have to hide valuables while crossing the border, they just can buy bitcoin and send it into the other wallet.

They may be using it, but I'm sure they are also using fiat currencies for illegal activities. There are many positive benefits of bitcoin and I don't think people should judge bitcoin negatively just because a few people use it for something negative.

I don't think isis needs bitcoin. As everybody said they already control resources such as oil , diamond mining, etc. And of course there are people willing to take the risk and buy from them , usually at lower prices. Sometimes the buyer is a businessman , sometimes the buyer is a government ...
