Everyone, please put in your bids! If block 420,000 were to be mined right now, the above would be the winning bid, and there would be no time extensions, as 15+ minutes have already elapsed since the last successful bid (the one above). thanks, Bobby

Coin is funded after received ?
Coin is funded. We will insure with shipper for roughly USD $100, and require signature for delivery. (The insurance and declaration for USD $100 will minimize any import duties or VAT being charged by your country.) The block has already been mined, and the BTC has already been mined: Transaction: https://blockchain.info/tx/0d36ca5eb506babc58650d42a42e28f1aef1cf5b6d043c3b4c88b933c464efbe[/quote but $ 100 is enough to secure a shipment of this caliber?

the biggest flaw with such a gorgeous titanium coin is that while the block and its engravings are fire/water-proof, the hologram and private key are not
has BTCC considered either laser-engraving the private key on the block (might cause security concerns though), or otherwise engraving it on a small titanium disk placed behind the hologram? I can just imagine the heartache if the private key got damaged or illegible
At this point, the hologram/private-key is not fire-proof, as you have correctly pointed out. However, they are waterproof, as the private key is printed on waterproof polyester paper. Good idea about laser etching the private key itself. We thought of that, but currently, we don't have a feasible way of doing it while insuring the secrecy of the private key. We'll continue to think about that for the future. thanks, Bobby thats why perhaps a smaller engraver with titanium discs. you might be able to do it solo and easily erase/destroy the machine memory at the end. but waterproof paper is a good start

No. It can be read by x-raying it.

28.5 It should be a threaded disk, where the laser etched priv key would be facing inward into the block, so the block and the disk would screw in and a hologram can be placed over.

28.5 It should be a threaded disk Your bid of BTC28.5 is not valid as someone else bid that before you.
