Newbie to the forum (and to bitcoin - do not have a wallet yet.)  I am a website designer and internet marketer.  I specialize in Joomla, with 8 years experience.  I'm looking for advice on how to best get started - offering my services to the community and earning 100% btc.  Thanks in advance!

I think he wants to work, not play poker or earn a few bitcents to play with, or else I would've plugged in my site already Tongue

Yes, I am solely interested in providing top quality web development and marketing services to the bitcoin community, and thereby contributing in a positive way to the movement away from fiat currency.  Though I am a decent poker player to boot.

You can create a topic here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0

You'll see a lot of similar web designers/developers who have done the same Smiley

From Wikipedia: "Initial release     17 August 2005"

You are from the future? Or you were using Joomla before it was publicly released?

There are a few job boards where you can advertise your services. I see people get paid for providing web services everyday. You can post on this forum as well, but there's a chance you will get lost in the noise. Take a look at sites that are well-trafficked, searchable, and structured. There is a great demand for services that accept BTC.

Good Luck!

You can get a wallet from http://bitcoin.org client or instawallet.  Go to http://dailybitcoins.org/index.php and http://bitvisitor.com/?ref=1HeroCCotNLtJzpEiWGrRkaFSFDBZkF1jG there is also http://netlookup.se/free-bitcoins/258252.  Welcome to the bitcoin world! There are many other sites out there but those are the most popular. Google for more. A list can be found at  http://[Suspicious link removed]/WS9PSf.

If you are feeling generous, feel free to donate at: 1HeroCCotNLtJzpEiWGrRkaFSFDBZkF1jG.

Hope this helps!

Well, he didn't say exactly eight years ago. I believe it falls within a reasonable estimation.

Still around.
