Some fun facts about me:

1. I don't have facebook.
2. I don't have twitter.
3. I don't have instagram
4. I don't have tinder
5. My only fancy popular apps include: Signal. Tor. personal and private home VPN.

My mobile device / phone rarely uses regular SMS or phone calls, only for business or professional purposes. Everything else goes through Tor and Signal.

So, yes, the phone metadata and GPS location can be tracked from time to time, but I'm pretty sure I'm at the bottom of the priority list as far as governments are concerned. They think I'm just another regular law abiding citizen with a very small footprint.

As for the Pokemon Go game, I dunno, I see it all around me. We "regular" non-playing people now have an excuse to do our own surveillance and awareness routines, just pretend to be playing; blend into the crowd and disappear.
