Quit Gambling for Good, think for your loved ones

Hi everyone, want to share my story here, I was once a gambler that I can gamble big amount of money in one day, I have this thinking that maybe I can make a living off gambling and get rich. I won big before but I lost back on the other day too.

And once you lost, you will try to recover back your lost amount and from there, the snowball just keep rolling, and you find yourself in bad mood everyday as you will keep on depositing all your savings and always hoping to recover back your loss. I have seen too many people losing big amount of money in Bitcoin Gambling.

Think for your family, your parents, your loved ones, your wife or kids, they love you, do not let gambling ruin your life, many people are always thinking they will win big from gambling and get rich in one night.

It happens, but out of 10000 people, maybe just 1 person are that lucky to really win a huge amount of money for him to retire.

Human concept always look at the lucky guy and envy him and thinking they will be the next him, but out of 10000 people, 9999 people have lost big, so why do you want to hurt yourself and your loved ones.

I am not trying to change people mind here, I just hope I can help some people that are addicted to gambling.

Life is good and wonderful, do not get yourself stuck in front of the pc everyday rolling dice and even you win big today, you will still lose back in other day, money that come fast go away fast too.

Some of what you say here is true but that doesnt mean gambling will ruin your life. If you have an addictive personality and cannot control when to stop gambling, then yes you prob shouldnt gamble. If you have self control and just wanna toss a few dollars around here n there then youll be fine.

It always depend on a case to case basis I think most of the human love gambling because they feel that they're alive, nothing beats boringness other than entertainment itself, however most of you say was genuine and could change someones' mind.

Everyone is responsible for his own chose and there is no one can push you to take that chose of quitting gambling.
all people are not the same maybe you have lived that but others will not there are many people are making smart gambling and they don't have any problem with family so that is what i want to tell.

I agree with the rest of the people too. I always tell people to gamble responsibly. The same can be for any kind of addiction, but its not easy for a smoker to quit, if you tell him to. Its good you realize this for yourself, but it hardly makes a difference to any of the gamblers. But thanking for trying to make a difference. I hope people who haven't gambled yet, read it and become responsible before gambling on -EV games.

If you read the whole thing he said very clearly he wasn't telling anyone to do anything . Do you have a superiority complex where you think he is talking directly to you ? You get quite worked up over it. And addiction is a serious issue and that's the truth.

One more story about guy who had big loss and now he regret he ever come in casino. This story is about a person who couldn't control his actions and cause of that he fall in magic circle of gambling. Trying to recover losses are never good idea, spending more then you can afford to lose is also nkt a good idea. I'm on beginning and you have two mistakes already.

People should be aware of things around, casino is not place where you go and make profit just like that. When I deposit money in casino, I'm aware of fact that I can lose it, but it's what I like to do no matter do I win or lose, so I don't deposit my car or house, or money I don't have.
Hope is strange thing I know, make people think their hand is next. Well wake up, this is a real world.

Honestly this is not the only way to quit in gambling many ways to prevent your self to gamble again.. how about if the person don't have any love ones or family im sure that there is other way.. look for other hobby is the best just like mine i change my to play online games.. and its working for me..

A good way to apply  managing finances is a good way to avoid the big mistake in gambling If you are a worker should regulate the division of finances set aside a few dollars to gamble. I personally do not even use the money from the real work to gamble I use the money I get from this forum if I lose might just regret it some time because I do not use private money.
My advice: Set of finance and controlling yourself

i do it for fun. i only do it with peanuts and never will go above that. it brings me some pleasure and if i'm happy then everyone else feels a little happier too.

i can see your point but it only applies to problem gamblers. if you do have a problem with it then you owe it to yourself and everyone in your life to get it dealt with.

That is why I will every time don't go for a High bet it is very dangerous. It will cause your life. This is the best example here those who are playing high bet. But here OP doesn't have his self-control so his greedy made him like this. So in gambling, if you show your greediness this is the result for your future. gambling is all about control and if you can't do that then you should never do it at all costs. because it will ruin your life.

but this is not a general thing that happens to everybody, it only happens to some people when they gamble and lose control. for many others it is all fun and they may even make some money out of it.

Yeah. Gambling is definitely one of the most addicting things that you can do get. It is more harmful than drugs in my opinion because you actually don't feel any effects physically from it.

Be mentally strong, and don't gamble what you cannot afford to lose.

It appears from what you are writing OP that you are a very addicted gambler or at least was. I think you need to get help to your problem in case you didn't already. Gambling is supposed to be fun and to give you some adrenaline for example when watching soccer games , so you can feel a bit more the game if you have bet some small amount of money to a specific team. Gambling is not supposed to make you rich overnight or in the long run. People who think that they can be rich with gambling and they don't need to work anymore, its usually these persons who get burned really hard from gambling. We should learn to think of gambling as some form of leisure only and not something to rely on to make huge amounts of money.

Having said that, if you follow a tipster, dedicate a small bankroll to follow his/her tips can make you some money in the long run, but this needs extreme self control to be applied.

when you do it for fun and with small amounts you should be good , and the main purpose should be to have fun with small money invested
some people here are making money thanks to gambling , but these people know what they are doing

well, you have a point, but the thing here is that, you just need to be smart when gambling, try to exploit some weakness that you can see on gambling sites, but of course the legal ones only.
