Faucets are real waste of time???

Yes, you have probably read such a comment many times so far. Especially some high forum ranked users are posting comments similar to that. Although i can not agree with it i, respect others opinion. Simply, some of us are faucet user and some are not. I personally met with bitcoin through faucets, and i still use them often since i am running a Xapo faucet list, therefore i am very active at this particular part of the forum. But why one would spend time reading topics here when they think it is a real waste of time? Is it possible that they are faucet owners but not active users, then why would someone shit where they eat?

I like faucets and i use them daily. I truly believe they are introducing a lot of new users to Bitcoin every single day.

I think it is mostly because the amount earned by doing faucet are very far from the amount you got from posting one paid post on this forum. Hence, the upper rank member will have greater tendency to have an opinion that faucet is time wasting or time consuming. I admit that I should agree that the earning from faucet is "laughable" if compared to the earning we got from signature campaign. But, that didn't mean I am not using faucet. I use some for killing time. While the reason why I still come to this section is simply because I'm still occasionally checking the new faucets, looking for high paying new one or at least to test them to see if I will like them and use them when I have some time to spare.

im not use faucet again, after i know how to earn money from campaig, mining, trading.
for me it's wasting my time, but for some newbie, i think its' still profitable than he sawting his time with playing game.

Pretty much this... But they forgot... it takes time to earn that rank to be able sign-up for campaigns: "Oh, you're better of signing up for a campaign". But there are no campaigns for newbs, or if there are, they are few and far between.

Yes, once you do get that rank, it is better to signature campaign, but up until then: faucets give free money.

And then there's the people who say "work for your bitcoins", but some of these people are campaigning or running sites of their own, plastering them all over the place. Funny.

This is exactly same with me.
I just like to explore, test, troubleshoot those faucets.
Faucet owners often are in need of good, constructive criticism, guidance
and sometimes pure cheering up
With help of some advertisement sites one can gather significant amount of referrals
and all of a sudden those earnings start to matter.
I'm always at the lookout for fun, fresh, clever faucets. Its almost free money after all.

99% faucets are waste of time. Most of faucets have minimum rewards from 50-200 satoshi, now look, you need to open faucet, solve captchas and or antibot, c/p address, claim, close faucet, open new one, and for that you need minimum 1 minut. So, you can earn in hour around 3000-12000, depending what faucets you are using. If you use 1440 min faucets, you can get 1000-2000 reward, but they are all with hard captchas, boring antibots on all page, safety limits etc, so lets say you can earn 20000/ hour. Now, be real, 20K satoshi is 0.12$, if you claim 10 hours(sleep, work) you will earn 1.2$. WOW! Say to your life good by for 1.2$. Is your life worth of 1.2$? Or if you earn 5$ daily from faucet, is your life worth it? Not to mention bad sides of faucets like high traffic, cpu-ram destroyer, possible malware, identity trackers etc. I am using only 2-3 good faucets. Only thing I can agree that faucets are very good for people who are new in bitcoin industry.
And what is most important, you cant progress in faucets, you have your maximum daily earnings from them and thats it. You say you like faucets, i don't see what is there to like, solving captcha, geting 0.0005$, solving another captcha 0,0005$, solving captcha 0.0005$....

Iam wasting about 1hour every day on faucets but its only some old working faucets like moonbitocin that i use.
Now a days iam clicking some ads on PTC sites to earn extra money for some african people.
I support them with my wee clicket satoshis so its no more time wasting for me to claim on faucets and ptc pages

For newbie people i think their is no wasting of time happening to them since they get free money their for startups and also so by that they can have capital to explore more the other sides of bitcoin in where they can earn more benifits with their very hard earn money from it. But if you are actually a semi pro and looking up for faucet well i can say its totally waste of time since you can earn that money easily in many various ways and earn with it good rather than faucet earnings wich give the big whales little earning.

Yea I think faucet site is waste of time if you only want calm faucet but if you advertise faucet sites it can be very profitable.It is best to advertise faucet sites in revenue shares sites which accept bitcoins because you earn money and you get free advertising space.

Just make sure, you do not see the same advert doing the rounds, find a new faucet then advertise it, worked for me many times, great passive income.

I also respect your opinion my friend, because it is undoubted that faucets can be very useful for newbies trying to get their first coins. But to be honest, most faucets decreased greatly their rewards when BTC reached around $400 last year, and nowadays most of them are paying very ridiculous amount of satoshi, their captchas are increasingly difficult and every day you need to spend more time to get the same satoshi, so I have decided to stop my faucets activity several months ago.

I only faucet from those who use the reCaptcha antibot things, they are quicker to fill out. I have a list I go through.

Of course there's the exceptional great page that uses Solve Media (which I detest), but it's worth it, because I know they pay.

Personally i found faucets very useful when i started using bitcoin i knew that they were paying only a few pennies of course but i was satisfied while i was receiving my first btc payments.
But i still use some faucets because i have many referrals and i enjoy a decent passive income,so i would say that they are a waste of time only for people who are not new in bitcoin and are not able to get referrals.
