Good luck with you sale, guarantee delivery here and i will bid The definition of a pistol vs a rifle is determined by the overall length of the firearm. Additionally most people know Tommy guns from the movies as being fully automatic. This is most likely semi-automatic (one trigger pull one bullet). Fully automatic firearms are illegal in most states, and the states they are legal in you are required to have a special class of federal license to own them which consists of more careful background checks. This gun is no more powerful or dangerous than any other .45 pistol with a 50 round magazine. People perceive it as such because of all the conditioning seeing it in countless gangster movies.

Yeah i know but what .45 has a 50 round magazine? Magbe 30 with a large extended clip but even thats pushing the limits with a .45 pistol.

Yeah i know but what .45 has a 50 round magazine? Magbe 30 with a large extended clip but even thats pushing the limits with a .45 pistol. It is a lot more common than you think. The limiting factor is the magazine, not the firearm in the vast majority of cases. A lot of pistols have aftermarket magazines that can hold 50+ rounds. The main reason you don't see them more often is because they are too cumbersome and usually defeat the purpose of owning a pistol over a rifle.

Notice how the one I have doesn't have the shoulder stock. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stock_(firearms) ) Most of them do have the shoulder stock and if they do the barrel requirement is 16 inch barrel. The Tommy submachine guns have a shoulder stock, short barrel just like this one and full auto. These pistols for sale here are only semi automatic and no shoulder stock. If a gun has a shoulder stock and a barrel less than 16 inches it is classified as a short-barrel rifle ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Short-barreled_rifle ) and requires you to jump through more hoops. Yeah i know but what .45 has a 50 round magazine?
I can include a 100 round drum for a bit extra . The more the merry IMO. If you don't think so... go play paintball with a 7 shooter against 5 people with 100 round hopper . The definition of a pistol vs a rifle is determined by the overall length of the firearm.
I believe it is the shoulder stock. Additionally most people know Tommy guns from the movies as being fully automatic. This is most likely semi-automatic (one trigger pull one bullet). ^ These are semi automatic.

No I'm a hunter myself and love my guns but still a tommy gun is legal, what is anybody going to hunt with that, you probably couldn't even aim the thing well. Unfortunately our laws are that tight here we can't evenown an air rifle without a full gun license, its way over the top. The lastest bullshit story came out yesterday, now they are banning the air guns that fire t-shirts out to the fans at sporting events. http://www.breitbart.com/sports/2016/02/12/pro-basketball-teams-t-shirt-launcher-confiscated-in-light-of-australian-gun-control/

The second amendment is not about hunting, it is about defending yourself, your family, and your countrymen from tyranny by providing common men the ability to defend their inalienable rights by the use of force if necessary.

I don't hunt either and never intend on it! (gutting things grosses me out) These are for raining rounds on someone who comes in your home or what not. Good for having for fun with as well of course! Tommy guns are legendary though for a reason. These are a bit difficult to aim because of the weight factor. The second amendment is not about hunting, it is about defending yourself, your family, and your countrymen from tyranny by providing common men the ability to defend their inalienable rights by the use of force if necessary. Ya fuck hunting.

Honestly, I'd rather see my guns be used on someone or something that deserved it rather than some poor little critter or deer out enjoying its day! *shrugs* It's none of my business though of course. 'Murica!

'Murica! I am not against hunting if you are actually feeding some one with the meat, but hunting is often used as a straw man to try to distract from the true reasons behind the right to bear arms in the USA by putting all firearm ownership under the rubric of hunting therefore attempting to justify the restriction of certain types of firearms.

Amen brother. I shoot about 200 rounds per week and own a variety of mostly target weapons. I always thought it was weird that people who were shocked by my AK's and AR's would make an exception for hunting. "Oh guns are violent and I think guns should be banned!!!! Well, unless you are blowing the brains out of wild animals. That would be fine with me." Anyway, Fun gun you have there. These are made by Kahr who bought out Auto-Ordnance to get the Thompson machine gun. They also own Magnum Research and produce the Kahr striker fire pistols. I carry a K9 Elite most days and I'm a big fan of their steel frame models.

I only kill what i will eat, rabbits, ducks the odd kangaroo but also don't mind blowing away a few pests that have been introduced here and just destroy our farmers crops. Regarding self protection, this is starting to become a hot topic here as the recent spat of home invasions and car jackings is only getting worse, the violence these guys use during the crims is horrific. If i woke in the middle of the night with a robber in my house i would not think twice about blowing him away, the way i see it if he's game enough to break into somebody's house then he better be ready to face what's coming to him.

Damn! I wish I was in America! I would have bought it then! In my country you need to get threats from some terrorists in order to procure a license and even with that license too you are only allowed to buy a 50 years old handgun!

I feel for your plight brother. An attacker is not going to have a 50 year old antique. Your best bet is to try offsetting your lack of firepower with training. In the early part of our history you could own a "ship of the line". That was the most powerful weapon on Earth, like owning an aircraft carrier or an ICBM. The people who try arguing that our founders were talking about muskets and could not envision modern firearms simply do not know their history.
