Interestingly enough, Cryptobit is not making its victims pay in Bitcoin either. The ransom note does not make a mention of how users should pay, nor is it known how much the ransom amount is. Different variants of the ransomware have been identified as well, and roughly eight different versions were discovered so far.

When i read the title i thought great another piece of scamming malware to hurt bitcoins image again so it was good to read that this time effected user are not being asked to pay in bitcoins.

So this is the ransomware which infects a computer and encrypts files but not demand any ransom.This is then the work of someone who not need the money and the only aim is to infect as many computers.In any case, it is good that is not associated with Bitcoin.
