It's actually a bug; the halving is supposed to follow the official routine of "halving"; thats why it's actually called that. So therefore since it was 25BTC per block; it would be halved to around 12.5BTC per block. Throw away your hardfork and grab a spoon to eat your cake nicely Cheesy Let's hope that the value for the Bitcoin can reach above $800 though.
