50/3 = 16.66666666. Uh oh. What went wrong? Is this a blockchain.info mistake or did the miners really receive 16.6666666 BTC + fees?


Edit: It was obviously just blockchain.info. They've corrected it now. They always seem to mess something up don't they?

Edit2: Locked. Don't use blockchain.info for anything you care about Smiley (aka: your coins!) 50/3 = 50/4 to them. They have a crappy wallet and crappy website with mistakes all the time.

Can you link me if where you can found the error i don't saw any from blochchain info i just check just right now can share me the link to see the stats for mining block rewards.

Even its corrected right now can you link me there to see the status of block reward. i dont see any in block chain or i just wrong place if where can i see those stats or even the present stats?

I have also noticed they have 16.66 btc  in newly generated bitcoin just after the halving but now they have corrected and it seems this was only some graphichal error in blockchain.info explorer and now it is showing correct amount.

I think there is no point to keep discussing on this issue now.
