According to the wiki, the market cap of Litecoin itself is ~$10m ? So 2% of Bitcoin?
I sort of thought that all the alts combined are < 1% of BTC market cap.

Can anyone sum up the major alts' market cap?

Thanks for the hard work, you saved me some embarrassment this week.

I'm going to talk about the Alt Currencies in the next Israeli Bitcoin Meetup (this Thursday).
I had planned to say the market cap of all alts together is < 1% of bitcoin ... then I thought I'd actually do some fact checking, and find this.
Now I actually see that a coin such as DevCoin, which I thought would be meaningless (because frankly I never got the idea of why it should be a worthwhile coin), is equal to PPCoin in its market cap.

I'm now adding this slide to my ppt (will publish it after the talk)

It was before LTC price shot through the roof just last week.

See what happened to LTC yesterday amidst the BTC price rally? It tanked pretty hard, down to $0.48 from it's crazy high of over $0.70. Has the bubble burst yet?
