Hi Guys

I few days ago I registered on bw.com to try out their B16 cloud mining option.
Registration and deposit was smooth but I cannot verify my phone.
Every single time I push the the Send verification sms button I do not receive the sms.

I tried to verify multiple times in different times of the day but no luck.
I wrote them from 2 different e-mail addresses about the issue but no answer.
I wrote them a message on their facebook page, but still no answer.

Anyone had a similar problem? Is there anyone on this forum who works for them?

I hope you didn't invest too much in these so-called cloud-mining schemes. They are mostly (99.999%) scams- please let me know if you come across one that is not.

Just my opinion, if there is an option to withdraw your fund, please try to do so before the site go MIA. Stop waiting for the "friendly customer service" to get back to you.

Yes, most of them are ponzis ( like Hashocean, Bitsrapid etc. ). I am also very cautious with them. I deposited a really small amount in bw.com just to compare the profits to Hashnest ( operated by Bitmain - this is the only CM provider I trust right now ), before I move in with bigger funds. I don't think BW.com is a scam, it just has crappy customer support.

Have you tried using a different phone number? If you do so and still not worked, I think the problem is on their site.

But at least you know the risk right? Yes, it's really awesome that you just wait and then earn, but the risk is always there. Anytime they can be scam even you trust them the most. HashOcean last for a long time, but what happened? They also turned to scam. I do invest in them also and luckily I got my ROI. Well, this time in your situation, it's still your decision since it's your money Smiley We are just stating our opinion and just some reminder about cloud mining sites.

Just imagine what problems you are going to be faced with when you want to withdraw money from their site, if you cannot even manage to invest something with proper support. I would run as far away as possible from these types of ponzi schemes, if I were you. Just browse around on this forum and you will see several complaints and warnings about cloud mining sites going scam. ^hmmmm^

there can be two reasons that you did not get the phone verification code.
  • You are using too much data in your phone that much network traffic is gathered and that is why the sms not reached your phone
  • the site has some problem with the operators and the site owner should contact them for the solution
anyway stay away from cloudmining sites because we never know from where they are paying us

I think you've already heard of multiple large cloud mining sites shutting down and have scammed multiple bitcoin users stealing millions of dollars worth of bitcoins.

Right now, I think the best option is try to avoid them and don't even verify your phone number for it because you're only giving your information to them, which is technically a good thing for them, and bad for you, as they will have more chances of scamming you.

BW.com is as legitimate as Bitmain, just not as well known as they have not really marketed much to US and Europe. They currently are mining 237 PH/s compared to 322 PH/s for Bitmain Antpool. The problem with Bitmain Hashnest is they are not selling S9 hashing power on Hashnest yet, only S7. BW.com contracts are limited to two years, not unlimited like Hashnest, and they also have an internal exchange so you can sell your hash if you want just like Hashnest.

Why need to verify your phone??   Many cloud mining that I join its don't need any phone verification thats the only one I hear that it's needed. Just stay with this if the support cannot answer your supplication.

You verify your phone for security, like Coinbase uses Authy. Remember BW.com is geared toward Chinese users even though you have the option of viewing website in English.

Why do people still believe in those cloud mining scams?

There are 100 posts here about those scams, and people still signup and deposit their bitcoins.

You can`t get your bitcoins back.Sorry.

BW.com is as legitimate as Bitmain Hashnest. I invested 0.78 bitcoin in earlier B-Eleven hosted mining back last October and just withdrew over 0.80 bitcoin in earnings, and the investment is still active so overall a decent place to park some bitcoin. The newest investment is B-16 hosted mining.

  • BW.com B-16 cost is 0.29 bitcoin per TH/s with daily fee $0.26 per TH/s
  • Genesis Mining bitcoin hashing $150 per TH/s with daily fee of $0.35 per TH/s
  • ViaBTC cloud mining 0.21 bitcoin per TH/s with daily fee $0.16 per TH/s

Hashnest is not selling hosted S9 hashing at present , only S7.
